Seth Petruzelli Responds to Kimbo, Could be Returning to the UFC
Kimbo Slice made a few comments on his interview with ESPN, saying that he wasn't there mentally on his last fight and that he could probably smash Seth "with one hand tied behind the back". Seth Petruzelli heard about this and responded via the UG:
I did have respect for you, after our fight you said i was the better fighter. there were 3 times that we could have fought after the elite show for you to get a rematch, but you declined all 3 times. now you go on ESPN making excuses, saying the only reason you lost was that it was sprung on you the last minute and that you can beat me with one hand behind your back!!!! you can go F yourself...maybe now that the UFC is having me back we will see for sure.
xoxoxo

p.s. im not gay :)
There's also a jab from his twitter:
Oh yea Kimbo can kiss my ass for his ESPN comments last night...
He also hinted to mmaweekly about a possible return:
I emailed Joe and said that I had won my last fight. He said that if I won my next fight I might be able to come back to the UFC. He emailed me back and said he was looking for a fight, to give him some time... I'm hoping to fight on the late November card.
If those statements are true, we could possibly see Seth Petruzelli, the TUF 2 alum, return to the UFC in the near future. First, he has to heal up though, since he injured his hand on his last fight against Chris Baten. According to him, the pins are going to be removed in two weeks, giving him more than enough time for his targeted return this November.

Damn skippy. And you also have to admit that Vera’s eyes are lopsided.

with all the huge guys coming in,
i think it would be best for Seth to stay at LHW..

I think..
Given the proper time to train for both of them and to know that Kimbo now has many options to go anywhere to train.. He would beat Seth in a rematch.
Kimbo just need’s the right camp & he’ll do decent.. He might pull off a nice win streak.. But I dont quite think he’ll make it to title holder.. Although he’s always one punch away from ending a fight.. He has great posture and head movement. He just need’s his ground game tweaked and to focus on defensive wrestling & BJJ..

seth's smaller, but he's a much better striker than kimbo..

Yeah Seth is a much more refined technical striker.. But Seth has always lacked wrestling.. Kimbo is a becoming a mildly decent wrestler.. He has good core & balance.. His sprawl looks WAY better than I have ever seen it.. He has a good base to work with on wrestling.. I think the right game plan would be to close the distance on Seth, lean on him and gas him out.. Then look to finish it with G&P.. Kimbo could execute that plan very easily, but again, it falls back on the right “camp”.. He has plenty of motivation going in to get it done too..
I’m not big on calling a fighter a bum because of a flash KO inside of the first 20-30 seconds of a fight. Everyone gets caught.. Kimbo has a decent chin.. I mean even though some of the guys he was fighting are bums, they were still heavy enough guys to rattle someone if they didn’t know how to take a hit.. Kimbo got caught by a punch he didn’t see coming and got clipped.. I’ve been flash KO’d like that 2 times.. I’m sure everyone that trains or has been in enough fights on this board could say the same thing..

I'd argue that one now..
Maybe last year or so.. During his EliteXC days.. But I live in Florida and know a few people directly envolved with Kimbo.. Reports are he is coming along very good.. Cardio was one of the first things he tweaked once he got back to training since he left Elite XC

I don't understand
how Kimbo is always one punch away from ending a fight when he took around 16 minutes to finish* a man who’s lost by (T)KO 7 times, 6 of those in the first round. Sure, the dude has some punching power—it’s tough not to when you’re 250 pounds of muscle—but he’s no Carwin, for example.
*:For purposes of this sentence, “finish” means “fail to knock down”

Because
At that weight.. “everyone” is 1 punch away from putting someone down..
Kimbo’s biggest downfall in his standup was that he always lead with his head forward.. He has great posture and keeps his chin tucked for the most part, but he tends to open up and lead with his head exposed. His head movement though, is great.. He has a good balance and core. He shifts and slips very smooth.. He’ll get better in time.. Once his wrestling catches up to his standup, then he’ll be a little more feared.. It’s coming.. give it another year or 2..

I always liked Petruzelli. I remember him throwing some epic spinning back kicks during his Ultimate Fighter sting.
Kimbo vs Seth as coaches @ TUF season 11?
for all intents and purposes, just consider all my posts as works of satire.
I’d pay money to see that.

Gods, Kimbo would be an even worse coach than Rampage.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
Students: “So what are the drills today coach?”
Kimbo: “That’s how I get my bread.”
Students: “Come on, what does this have to do with money?”
Kimbo: “Ya feel me? Bread homey. You know what I mean?”
Students: “Please Kimbo, teach us or tell us something of value!”
Kimbo: “It’s all good, I’m street certified.”
haha intersting match up
i like to see kimbo gives ass whoopin’ to this homo

Looking at Seth's comments above
He writes like WE do here on the board. Sounds like one of those TROLLS that come in from another board, talking shit and stuff.
