How the hell is Cantwell/Stann

a prelim bout & Condit/Ellenberger is on the main card?

Arguing on the internet is like being in the special olympics, even when you win you are still retarded.

Dude it's Carlos Condit.

Because Carlos Condit is a freakin animal.

Because Condit is more relevant than either Cantwell or Stann?

Good scheduling

would dictate that fights likely to end in quick KO go on the undercard to have in reserve in case they need them for filler.

by Fibbus on Sep 15, 2009 6:54 PM EDT up reply actions

especially

with fighters particularly on their way out of the promotion.

Wouldn’t want to show them on TV if they’re about to be on another channel.

Cantwell/Stann 3 should be a PPV

Is Diaz gonna show for the weigh ins or is that something else that he just doesn’t do?

Walla walla walla I'm an idiot.

I got Silva and Pierce for the upsets.

by Chris Nelson on Sep 15, 2009 5:41 PM EDT up reply actions

I’m curious to hear why you would pick against Brock in this case.

While CB is the favorite, I have a hard time thinking many will be upset if he loses.

Huerta or Maynard...

Way too tough to call.

by pr0cs on Sep 15, 2009 5:25 PM EDT up reply actions

So I guess Diaz missed weight then?

by Zack Gobie on Sep 15, 2009 5:30 PM EDT reply actions

the two wins i guarantee are carlos condit and brock larson defeating their opponents

i also like cb dollaway and gray m. huerta has alot of victory’s in mexico to inflate his record. plus he had that sports illustrated picture to increase the hype around him. don’t believe the hype. gray m. will drop him on his head like he did to frankie edgar. ramble on!

huerta has alot of victory’s in mexico to inflate his record.

What are you talking about? Huerta has never fought in Mexico.

hahaha

thank you for beating me to it

Huerta fought his way out of Mexico

by bigweeze on Sep 16, 2009 11:08 AM EDT up reply actions

On the contrary, of all the “It’s your last fight we’ll make you lose” scenarios (Ortiz/Machida, Arlovski/O’Brian) I think Huerta/Maynard has the best chance for an upset with Huerta winning. As much as I hate to see him go I’d at least seem him leave MMA with a win and a 1 final “f-you” to Zuffa trying to set him up with a loss and keeping him on the sidelines for so long.

by pr0cs on Sep 15, 2009 5:59 PM EDT up reply actions

I hate how the UFC keeps some fighters benched if they talk bad about daddy. I also doubt that he can upset Maynard unless he’s a brand new fighter after the Florian loss. Guida outwrestled him, and he could fight 145. Maynard is huge compared to Clay.

It’s okay, Guillard will still wreck him tomorrow night.

by goodbones on Sep 15, 2009 6:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Hope not.

I find Diaz the more entertaining psycho headcase.

by Fibbus on Sep 15, 2009 6:46 PM EDT up reply actions

That’s Nick Diaz.

by goodbones on Sep 15, 2009 6:47 PM EDT up reply actions

Oh you're right

Nate Diaz is a nice young man.

That may be, but he’s still going to get his face rearranged.
