Mark Bocek vs. Matt Veach at the TUF 10 Finale

A lightweight bout featuring Canadian grappler Mark Bocek (7-2, 3-2 UFC) and and HIT Squad member Matt Veach (11-0, 1-0 UFC) will be added to the TUF 10 Finale card, according to MMA Weekly:

Though bout agreements have yet to be signed, both parties have agreed to the fight and should finalize a deal soon.

Bocek was a standout on the grappling scene, but found mixed success upon entering the UFC.  Now training with American Top Team, Bocek seems to have hit his stride and is riding a two-fight winning streak with submission victories over Alvin Robinson, and most recently, fellow BJJ black-belt David Bielkheden at UFC 97 back in April.  Having taken some time off to nurse minor injuries, Bocek will look to continue his winning ways in December in Las Vegas.

A St. Louis-based wrestler, Veach trains full-time with Matt Hughes's HIT Squad, and made his UFC debut at Fight Night 17 last February where he won via TKO against Matt Grice after what many believed to be an early stoppage.  Looking to put on a more authoritative performance, Veach was penciled in against Evan Dunham at UFC 102, but an injury suffered in training forced him out of the bout with Marcus Aurelio stepping in as the replacement.  Now apparently recovered, Veach will have his hands full with the excellent jiu-jitsu of Bocek if he chooses to take the fight to the ground in December.

The TUF 10 Finale is currently scheduled for December 5th at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas.  The current rumored card includes:

Matt Hamill vs. Jon Jones

Frankie Edgar vs. Kurt Pellegrino

Heavyweight Finalist 1 vs. Heavyweight Finalist 2

Rousimar Palhares vs. Alessio Sakara

John Howard vs. Dennis Hallman

Mark Bocek vs. Matt Veach

The more non TUFers get added to this card the more my expectations of this season’s talent level goes down.

This shirt is "dry clean only", which means it's dirty.

True

It would be a little much to expect them all to be on there. I guess the amount of TUFers you see on there will depend on where Kimbo ranks compared to them. If he was the 8th best…we’ll see eight lol.
