yeah i agree,,,
It looks like the ref should of been in there; instead he was sort of like “maybe i should be doing something”…
The fight was televised on HDNET. WM was in the right here, you can’t just say “time out” “time out”. Unless the Ref sees the poke you’re on your own.
and honestly, it looks like WM was being a nice guy about it. He didn’t have to stop and question the ref, but he gave the opponent the benefit of the doubt. Without the ref stepping in, what was he to do?
The guy wasn’t KO or even cringing on the ground.
Can’t believe I am taking WMs side on anything, but yeah – he didn’t do anything wrong here.
weoweoweo is the best… and I <3 Vera cause he is pogi.
Referee never really took the timeout either if you watched it live...
The problem was he didn’t see an eye poke, so he let it go… sort of.

It didn't even really look like an eye poke to me, either
At least from this angle, it just looks like the left hook happened to hit the guy right in the eye. And i’m relatively sure that it isn’t illegal to do that

It wasn’t an eye poke. He straight glanced a shot off his eye. Referee never came in until it was basically over. Don’t see where the problem lies.

I will say he was a hesitant in coming in, but it was over.
