A Fenway Park Fight
Dana said that this is where they wanted to come if they come to Boston
The truth of the matter is that this would definitely work and be one of the most succesful UFC's of all time. It wouldn't matter how many levels of gradually increasing view they offered, the floor seats would still sell out and the grandstands would probably go even faster. Boston is a fight town and is too big for the TD Garden to contain it... For the fans Fenway would be absolutely historic and for anyone who complains about the sitelines, it doesn't matter what UFC event you are at, the screens are where you end up paying a lot of attention... They would have to come up with an absolutely historic rain shelter that doesnt block the view but it seems very possible.
On behalf of all Boston fight fans I want the UFC to pull this one off and create an event to rival any fight ever staged...

I think that those Green Monster seats would probably be some of the highest priced if a UFC arrives… As someone who has been to a great many UFC’s, you dont wanna be too close because the cage and cameramen get in your way, you wanna be just above cage level looking down….
at the same time
as someone who has sat in the very last possible row, as far as humanly possible from the octagon in an arena, you dont want to have to bring your lil stargazers my first telescope just to see tito ortiz’s already swollen dome
he was injured. injured bad.
As have I
and at that point youre basically paying less than a PPV….
and I feel the atmosphere of being their wins out…
i paid $40
for the furthest seat back at a fight night.
still though, being there wins. especially at what would be a truly historic sports moment at a fenway show. i still dont think this ever happens.
he was injured. injured bad.
