Not saying I agree with her, just that it’s already starting to become the common perception.

Its becoming the common perception of the cyber geek who follows the sport from the safety of their keyboard & has no idea what its like to be punched in the face.
The internet is a great place to follow any sport and Im all for people having their say.
But seriously some people are clueless.
To say this fight was fixed or that Griffin took a dive is just ignorant.

He didn’t throw the fight. He submitted in a way. He was already hurt before that last jab. If it was boxing he would have been counted out, don’t see why everyone felt like he needed to take even more damage.

I said it right after the fight. Forrest wouldn’t just give up, and the dive theory is just wacky (thus my goofy smiley above). I said there had to be something broken or badly damaged inside him, and just refreshing the main page seems I was right.
I didn’t post this to say I agree, I posted to show what the common perception was after the fight.

I was a bit touchy last night too, the “forrest took a dive” BS has been grating my nerves. Can’t we just have one UFC show where there isn’t some kind of silly made up controversy? Wasn’t there enough actual controversy on that card to satisfy people?
If Forrest was supposed to take a dive he did a shitty ass job of it being as he had to be dropped three times to actually stay down and he had to go to the hospital after the fight.
So...
Basically I’m a guy who doesn’t practice any martial arts but I liketo look at it and learn a lil bit so I don’t be the dumb idiot screaming out “Stand up and punch him int he face!!!!” But what you’re telling me is that out of all the research and vids that I’ve seen and blogs that I’ve read, it all boils down to a random chick singin a song on her webcam with the sound off in order to truely justify what happened?

LOLZ at this. fixed fight ? come on forest got annihilated with those shots. Anderson Silva has lasers for fists, and the one that finished the fight was called “the anchor punch”.
If you know some boxing history it was the same punch that Ali used to knock out Liston. take a look at this and tell me if you think both men threw their fights.
Watching this after watching Anderson fight it’s kinda creepy how much Silva fights like Ali the movement ,and avoiding shots until the perfect moment .Ive seen him imitate other fighters in the past joking like (chuck Liddel, Bruce lee Lyoto Machida, Royce gracie was my favorite.) But to see it in his fight is crazy. Maybe we are truly witnessingone f the greatest fighters of our time and all time. Thank you Spider!

I couldn’t watch more than 1.5 seconds of that smarmy display of ignorance. why does BE keep this up? This is a sight for hardcores and insiders not conspiracy minded attention hounds.
Jesus christ some random person posts a video saying the fight is fixed and you guys go apeshit. Its some stupid girl posting a stupid video on a stupid website. What does it matter what her stupid opinion is? Who cares if she doesnt know what it feels like to take a punch? Forrest is a warrior and if something seriously wasnt wrong with him he would have never never never walked out and gave up.

If you take away making fun of idiots on the internet then you ruin a big part of what makes the internet so fun. We aren’t going apeshit we are using the internet for one of it’s prime functions, making fun of an goofball.
The erksome thing about this isn’t that video it’s all the post from people who claim to be real fans of the sport saying that the fight was fixed. There have been dozens of post with people saying that around here.
