This looks really good but how many countdown shows have we seen now where somebody says “an in-shape, focused BJ Penn is a dangerous whatever”? Seriously, I think it’s been said in almost every countdown show that included a Penn fight.
Anyways, I’m ready for this event.
Too often
But they seriously mean it this time! Seriously!

anybody know if that clip of Drysdale is part of a bigger interview or just a sound bite for this promo? I’d be interested to see if he actually breaks down Anderson’s ground game. I haven’t seen any interviews with him about his training with Griffin.
I’m not entirely sold on the stuff Anderson/Drysdale are purported to say in this; from what I understand they get along fine.
I also am pretty hesitant to believe Drysdale would actually guarantee a submission against another BJJ blackbelt especially when Drysdale is on good terms with Sylvio Behring (Behring being Andersons coach).
Eh, seems a little like fake trash talk to me.

Drysdale also stated that Mir's going to submit Lesnar.
He can’t be trusted :D

Yeah but everyone in the jiu-jitsu community other than Comprido and Paulson hate Brock Lesnar so that one doesn’t bother me as much as Drysdale reportedly saying this (which seems out of character).

Well, after watching it… maybe I was incorrect about Drysdale/Team Anderson’s relationship, I didn’t think there was any sort of issue between them. I stand corrected, people need to stop guaranteeing submission victories over BJJ black belts (ADCC champ/Marcelo Garcia slayer or not).

He wanted no part of Machida, now he gets Anderson Silva, looks like someone is getting punished.
You don't look like a Tanaka.
Yeah, I like Forrest and all that
but his statement about “never turning down a fight” was phrased like an experienced politician.
The more I think about it
I think this is maybe Dana’s attempt at saying F**k you to the Spider. I believe that he thinks Griffin will win.
I think he just wants to see Silva have someone try to compete with him. Win; lose? Makes no difference really. He wants a great fight and almost assured it with Griffin in there.

Did anyone else notice the "Blue Steel"?
