awesome

Fisher is my favorite undercard guy. this could be a breakout win for him if he can beat Joe Daddy … but i don’t see it. i think Stevenson is in a mid-career resurgence, and it’s probably going to be a long night for the King.

The new Team Jackson Joe Daddy will be too much for Fisher. Stevenson wins this.

GSP: I pulled my groin.

Greg Jackson: I don't care Georges! HIT HIM WITH YOUR GROIN!

oh, i agree

like i said up there, i think Stevenson is in a mid-career resurgence after joining Greg Jackson’s camp. Fisher has a chance, but I think Joe Daddy tires him out in the third and gets the sub.

Fisher showed fantastic takedown defense against Uno, and Stevenson showed some really terrible boxing in his last several fights.

Spencer could end up being a solid underdog play.

Now that just about all these UFC and WEC cards are stacked like this I would really welcome the undercard matches being shown on Spike.

GSP: I pulled my groin.

Greg Jackson: I don't care Georges! HIT HIM WITH YOUR GROIN!

They have to save some for the PPV customer to fill out the broadcast but yea I think it would do wonders for them to have 2-3 fights free on Spike leading up to the card.

Yeah I know

But they could at least show these fights for free for 24hrs on UFC.com after the PPV. After that charge the reg 1.99 per dl.

GSP: I pulled my groin.

Greg Jackson: I don't care Georges! HIT HIM WITH YOUR GROIN!

Definitely should get some sort of goodwill code for ordering the PPV

For UFC 100 if you got the stream from UFC.com they had all the undercard fights on afterwards.

I’d gotten used to watching just so-so cards to get to the “good” ones but lately I’m looking forward to so many GOOD cards… Not just so-so ones. Joe Silva is rockin my world baby!

I'm the kind of girl who loves to watch a GOOD fight!

Great addition to the card! I’m a fan of both Spencer & Joe Daddy, and am real excited to be able to see this one live.

Kinda torn on who I think will win. Probably Joe, but I’ll be happy just to see the war.

I hope Joe Daddy can ressurect his career.

He’s such a good guy, and really is a good role model for young fans (being a parent several times over helps).

I think Fisher takes this one. Fisher is a game opponent, has great cardio, and has always put on great performances even in defeat.

Fisher is one of my favorite LW's...

… but Stevenson with the Jackson camp is a different animal.

What kind of animal is yet to be determined.

Didn't work out so well for Rashad.

The Jackson camp isn’t invincible. But, at least Joe will have better training partners.

true fisher’s wrestling defense looked great against Uno, but that was uno, not the much bigger and more talented wrestler stevenson

Split screen

You’ve probably been doing this for awhile but it caught my eye this time that you did the photo combination. At first I thought it was an actual weigh-in (before I read the headline) and what first caught my eye was the Bruce Buffer(?) two-face with some random pale white guy. The faces fit perfectly so I did a double take.

I did a double take on Buffer’s face as well and I’m pretty sure the random pale white guy you’re referring to is Lorenzo Fertitta.

by MMAussie on Aug 4, 2009 3:08 AM EDT up reply actions

Lorenzo?

Could be. Anybody got the original Joe Stevenson weigh-in picture to check?
