Alessio Sakara (14-7, 1 NC) vs. Rousimar Palhares (9-2) will finally happen at the Ultimate Fighter Season 10 finale on December 10th, according to Tatame. The 185-pound bout was originally scheduled for June's UFC 99 in Germany, then moved to UFC 101 in Philadelphia. "Toquinho" sustained a leg injury during training, so Sakara instead fought (and took a unanimous decision over) the now-released Thales Leites.

I hope Palhares
can get the takedown, otherwise we’re in for another stinker.

Agreed, hopefully Joe Silva knows something that we don’t.

Toquinho’s takedowns are 100 times better than Leites’.

lol
I think the UFC hates Sakara. I wish they would match him with more strikers those fights seem to be more exciting

The UFC clearly loves Alessio Sakara. Why else would they have kept giving him fights for the past four years?

Speaking of leg injuries...
I think Sakara will be the one hobbling after this one ;)

yeah, this is virtually the same fight he just fought, avoid the takedown and fight a guy who doesn’t really wish to engage on the feet.
