I agree and hope that it can in fact draw more fans to the sport. However I don’t see it giving any kind of bump to women’s sports in general.
Women’s MMA work because MMA is already segmented into groups based on physically characteristics. Women’s divisions are offer something different just like FW differs from HW. No one wants to see bad, slow basketball.

I dislike Matt Hughes.
