Awesome is the only word to describe this.

How can you not love this guy?

Sidenote: I dig that Pride announcer chick’s style. Better than Buffer, IMO.

thankfully none of you guys are in charge of production.
To me she was the worst part of pride, bad enough that I had to mute the intros to avoid listening to that goddamn harpy call.

i agree. couldn't stand her then, can't stand her now in DREAM

i especially hated when she announced Sakurai. She stretched each syllable for about 10 seconds and I wanted to puncture my ear drums with an ivory toothpick.

and that side-cocked fedora from Pride 33….

I like Buffer OK, I just despise when paid announcers consistently make the same pronunciation mistakes. Massachusetts, Tacoma, and Lavigne (the friggin ref’s name!) are all words that he always mispronounces. Let’s not even get into foreign fighter names…

A.Silva would destroy everyone on dancing with the stars

Anyone else think he could double his PPV buys simply by doing this entrance just once in the UFC?

Walla walla walla I'm an idiot.

He should have done a Michael Jackson tribute at 101.

Oh and beating Forrest quadrupled any of his previous Google trends spikes.

Knowing what a show he COULD put on makes me think he’s actually doing his best not to embarrass his opponents. Imagine if he was moonwalking away from Forrest when he popped him that last time.

So now I know I couldn´t even beat him in a dance off. That´s just fucking great, Mr. Silva.

seriously! not fair

he’d even take us to school in a big mac eating contest

by woooburn on Aug 20, 2009 8:50 AM EDT up reply actions

Did he win this fight? He lost 2 of his 5 Pride fights. Would suck to come out like this and lose.

by MMAInFeRioRiTy on Aug 20, 2009 10:46 AM EDT reply actions

This might have been against Carlos Newton – he did a brief MJ spin after receiving his trophy for that win.

I think he would make more US fans...

…if he showed us his lighter side more often. (As opposed to calling BJJ world champs ‘fools’ and ‘idiots’)

Just my opinion.

amazing

Kendall Grove is my 2nd favorite fighter

Anyone fighting him is my favorite.

by monkeyfightclub! on Aug 23, 2009 1:39 PM EDT reply actions

I would love to see him do his MJ dance again. Perhaps in the ring durring the fight just start doing the moon walk and crotch grab. His opponent would be so confused, Anderson would just KO him. Micheal Jackson Kung fu.

I wish he would always come out to this song.
