"I know [Jose Aldo] and his potential. I think he’ll knock out Mike Brown... If [Aldo] wins the belt, I´ll go down [to 135 pounds] and that is what will happen." -- Wagnney Fabiano

Should be the other way around (Wagnney/Brown, Aldo at 135) but whatever works.

I actually think

That they’re both natural FW’s. 135 is definitely too much weight for WF to cut, and I think if anything- Aldo would benefit from packing on some muscle and staying at ’45.

It’s just unfortunate that they both reside in the same weight class.

Supporting all Las Vegas MMA. Xtreme Couture FTMFW.

'09 is the year of the FW's.

We have really yet to see the Featherweight & Bantamweight Divisions stablize. A lot of the guys competing at Featherweight could make Bantam.

Probably since alot of guys at 155 could fight at 145.

Yep.

And I think it’s gonna stay that way so long as there’s the huge divide in visibility/money between 155-and-up and 145-and-under.

Very true.

If the WEC merged with the UFC, I wouldn’t be shocked to see at least 5 to 10 guys in the UFC Lightweight Division drop down to Featherweight.

And if Aldo loses and Fabiano wins, then the opposite happens.

A man should never waste an opportunity to keep his mouth shut.
