Herrington has apparently become an internet meme on Japanese video site Nico Nico Douga, and held a private party for about 100 fans - with secret guests Aoki and K-1 MAX cosplayer Yuichiro Nagashima - while visiting Tokyo.

Billy Herrington is one of the stranger memes I can think of

Apparently he was in a wrestling porno, one that was not only considered funny, but funny enough to warrant a lot of re-editing and re-imagining. He even got his own action figure!

I’d say I don’t understand it at all, but logically it seems to hit upon several solid elements of Japanese internet culture: wrestling, strange pornography, unlikely video edits.

It ends in an armbar or a strangle regardless.
