McCrory and Leites leaving UFC after all
This report from Five Ounces of Pain from mixedmartialarts.com and MMAJunkie confirm that initial reports suggesting that Tamdan 'Barncat' McCrory and Thales 'Back-Flop' Leites have indeed been cut from the UFC, despite Yahoo's Kevin Iole reporting that they were not. All is evidently not what it seems.
Has anybody else had just about enough of Kevin Iole? His vitriolic critcism of CroCop leaving the UFC for DREAM despite having no real evidence to show that the Croatian had indeed signed the paperwork, and his abject refusal to apologize, leaves MMA fans wondering as to his responsibility as a reporter.

why blame iole?
if dana told him that they were not going to be cut, then changed his mind, blame dana. he can take it. :-)
I'm no fan of Kevin Iole,
But if you happened to read the MMA Junkie article you linked to, or the fanpost I made on this topic several hours ago, you’d find that Iole himself has an article out regarding this issue, in which he reports the following:
News of the move to drop the men surfaced on Thursday. But late Thursday, White told Yahoo! Sports they had been dropped but that he would "fix" it and that they would not be cut.
However, after discussing the move internally on Friday, White changed his mind and opted to let Leites and McCrory go.
All Iole did is report what he was told from his source, which in this case was the Ultiman himself. The general complaint that Iole relies too heavily on Dana White and therefore has a limited viewpoint of the sport is essentially mooted by the fact that, in this case, his conversations with Dana White were themselves the story.
It ends in an armbar or a strangle regardless.

Iole's source is Dana White.
And that is precisely why other MMA journalists and wannabes hate him.

The law of internet discourse in action!
For every dull post there is always an equal and opposite dull reply.
It ends in an armbar or a strangle regardless.
Mine has a clever picture, though
and is correct in its sentiment
So opposite, perhaps. But equal? I think not.
Si Hoc Legere Scis Nimium Eruditionis Habes
(Lest anyone think that was over the top, I’d like to point out that it was something of a pun on Paynuss’s screen name. Explaining the joke kills it, but things have been somewhat edgy recently, and I’ve already accumulated a warning so I just thought I’d put that out there)
It ends in an armbar or a strangle regardless.
I guess
Joe Silva has more power than I thought he had.
Wait so your upset at Iole for reporting something Dana White said? Seriously, you think Iole is the problem there? It sounds like on this one Iole was right on top of everything and did a excellent job with this story, he reported the quote and then went back and reported when White changed his mind again and left them cut, that is exactly what he is supposed to do.
