a great late replacement. should be good to see if a young gun like dunham can handle the savvy vet.

Good to see Maximus back in the Octagon

He’s strung together two straight wins (1 KO, 1 sub) since leaving the UFC, so I’m not at all surprised they brought him back.

His UFC losses all came against strong wrestlers (Guida and Griffin), and then a guy who could equal him in BJJ but was also a better striker (Franca), so it will be interesting to see how he does against Dunham.

From what I understand, Dunham is more of a BJJ guy than a wrestler, but I’d assume Aurelio is far more skilled on the ground. Nonetheless, he showed he had KO power in his debut against Eklund. If he wins, it shows he can hang with mid-level guys, and if he loses it won’t be so bad either, as Aurelio is a well-respected veteran.

Nice to see him back

He pulled one of the sickest arm bars I’ve ever seen

It really seems like the UFC is signing back everybody possible. And they aren’t releasing any fighters either. Basically, they are giving Strikeforce nobody to use.

Yeah, ask McCrory about how they aren’t letting anybody go.

(He’ll be back eventually, more likely than not)

It ends in an armbar or a strangle regardless.

Good

I really am glad that they are bringing Aurelio back. I always thought he was an exciting fighter and I continued to follow him outside the UFC because I knew he’d make it back.
