Has anyone noticed
that if Tim shaved his chest he’d have a pretty decent rack?
(Is that fighter bashing??)

While Alexander is still under contract with the UFC, the organization has yet to find a fight for him after his injury. While it is not typical for the UFC to let its fighters take bouts for promotions outside the company, exceptions are sometimes made, as apparently will be the case with Alexander should he fight on the Adrenaline card."

Smart move by Zuffa. He can’t win a fight in their organization right now…. But it’s still stupid to let him go and let Strikeforce sign him.
It wouldn’t shock me to see this happen with more UFC fighters right now.

As much as we all make fun of him you can’t forget that the guy is a multi-time world champion. Perhaps he won’t come to his next fight looking like Twinkie the kid and can get back on track.
Let me rephrase that first sentence for you:
Even though Tim Sylvia is a multi-time UFC world champion, we can’t forget how easy it is to make fun of him.
I don’t know anything about Jason Riley, but according to Sherdog he’s 6-1 and has never fought in a big show. Is this really the best they could do?
wait a minute, wasn’t houston supposed to fight at ufc 98, only he got injured? did they release him?
I am surprised Tim was not the one playing Russian Roulette with the way Monte has tricked Tim into that whole free agent is the wave of the future bit

In fairness Cox got him the highest payday of his career to fight the best HW ever. I believe he only got like 100k for for the Nog fight. However the Mercer fight was dumb.
He was 100k/100k in the UFC, of course he was on an old contract as was getting ready to negotiate a new one too. That one great payday also has to be weighed according to the affect it had on his career and his future earning potential too. It wasn’t just about the pay, they took a big risk and it didn’t pan out (if Tim had beat Fedor his career from then to now would of been drastically different). Tim’s stated plan at the time was to go fight a couple of big money fights and then go back to the UFC, instead he ended up facing Ray Mercer in Alabama after being out of action for a year.
Can you please use a different picture of Timmah?
Thanks
