Thanks. There was a rumor for Cote-Okami @103. Guess it didn’t pan out.

yeab I respect Cote too
He doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with Lietes when people talk about Silva’s last few fights. Lietes just quit and started just flopping. Cote was executing a strategy of in and out striking and avoiding the ground game. He was doing okay, he wasn’t winning the fight, but he was doing what he was trying to do, move around enough to hopefully catch Silva with his granite hands.
I’ll never say Cote was winning the fight, but he was keeping it close and doing a good job executing a game plan. Thales knew he couldn’t do a thing and quit. Very different.
Here’s hoping Cote rests up and if its true that Silva will drop the MW title, Cote will have a real chance to be champ once he gets healthy.

I'm not sure which part would get him in more trouble.

I never particularly cared for Patrick Cote but I wouldn’t wish an injury on any fighter. Besides the loss of the spotlight, training, and fighting, but most of these guys rely a decent amount on the paychecks. Hopefully when he comes back we can have McFedries/Cote or something.
