Diaz is on his way to LA to take the test today…. on Friday he did not show up for the test.
Commision said ok for Monday.
As of 3pm today…. we’ll know the situation more clearly.
Results will be available on Thursday.
There is a plan in place if Nick Diaz can not fight… Jay Hieron will be fighting for sure. But this won’t be announced until after the results are in.
Loretta – There is news that Diaz has not yet scheduled an appointment. CSAC says they have not even heard or scheduled an appointment with Nick or Cesar Gracie.
Coker – We’re hoping that Diaz makes the right decision.
Loretta – You guys had to book flights for Nick Diaz
Coker – yes… two flights, hopefully he’s on his way
Coker – This is a frustrating situation all around, Diaz didn’t understand why he had to get tested but he knows the situation now.
It all depends on the gate size…

Is this Jay Hieron who’s saying he doesn’t have a clue what kind of deal he’s signed with Strikeforce? Is that common in MMA where fighters don’t keep up with their contracts?
Gina “Conviction” Carano will host Carano-Cyborg Week on SHO 2, a special series featuring past fights of hers and her impending opponent, Brazilian powerhouse Cris Cyborg. The series, which is part of the nightly program SHO Sports Presents, will air on fight week, Monday, Aug. 10 – Friday, Aug. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHO 2.
Wish it was on Cinemax…

Nope
We’re all sick of it. She’s one of those fighters that is better off without a nickname.
I STILL poop rainbows.
remember when Gina was gonna get more ms pub than ufc 100?
I haven’t been paying much attention…. has it gotten any serious coverage?
I'm like PacMan fightin you silly kids... throw ya Hatton the ring, and get knocked outlike Ricky did.
lol.
za
These people are dumb as rocks.
They just sent an email saying that you gave them a possible replacement opponent, do you already have a replacement picked out?
metzler and ariel sounded so natural...
with decent questions… the rest for the most part are questionable lol

Disintegration -- I'm taking it in stride.

This card has been a wreck since the first fight was announced.
Does any of this feel like true competition against Zuffa? Not really…

Coker doesn’t have his act together. From horrible conference calls to being unable to get a title contender licensed properly…
It seems like this regional promoter is out of his league when it comes to a national show…
I have a feeling when Zuffa starts poaching his talent, the issues will only get worse…

We get it. Everything Strikeforce does you will now compare to Zuffa.

I hope they keep Hieron as a title fight if they have a good opponent. Screw Diaz.

Man...
Who though? It’s hard to maintain the legitimacy of a title after all of these shifts. It’ll have neither original contender. At this point, that fight has been through more transformations than Joan Rivers’ face.
I STILL poop rainbows.
If I were Shields
I would beg to fight for the 170lb title is Diaz is out. He needs to eat up fights so He can complete his contract and go to the UFC. He should be jockeying for this fight right now.
