ESPN SportsNation UFC Poll: Go Vote
This Fan Post was promoted to the front page by Nick Thomas.
There is a poll over at ESPN SportsNation asking whether or not to cover more UFC events. It has been a tight race with "Yes" at 53% and "No" at 47%. I found this on the UG but if you post anywhere else, spread the word. Hopefully if we get an overwhelming "Yes" ESPN will up their coverage of the UFC. Click the link and let's be heard:
[UPDATE] The poll is now 54% "Yes" and 46% "No"... I'm sure some might be thinking this is "no big deal", but this honestly might be a HUGE opportunity to show ESPN how much support this sport gathers. This poll could really get ESPN to further our beloved sport into the mainstream. Take 10 seconds to cast a vote and help us make a statement.

Voted, hope this gets front paged, if the higher ups don’t dig the format, clean it up and toss it on the front, I don’t think anyone’s feelings will be hurt…it’s for a good cause.

i made a fanshot of it here… i hope you guys don’t mind.. i just thought that a fanshot of it has a better chance of getting fronted. if not, then at least it’s another post that could get a few more votes..

it's currently 55% yes and 45% no..
the main page polls get up to 1000 votes.. if we get like half of that even, it would be a huge sway in the percentages..
it will only take you 5 seconds.. no log-ins.. just click yes, and vote.
DON’T BE AN ASS.. YOURE ALREADY SURFING THE WEB DOING ENOUGH USELESS CRAP.. be useful and take 5 seconds off your interweb time to VOTE..
Although I'm sure you didn't mean it literally
just as an FYI, ESPN.com has thrown out poll results before due to ballot stuffing (such as vote, delete cookies, vote, delete cookies…) so any effort to cheat for a favorable result could result in the whole thing getting thrown out.
I’ve heard people say “I don’t want fuckin’ ESPN to cover MMA. Let them have LeBron and Kobe and Favre, let us keep our sport…” Well, that’s a nice idea, to keep it “pure” but the reality is, the more coverage it gets, the better it is for everyone — particularly the fighters.
Let’s use ESPN for good here! Vote ‘Yes’ for Proposition UFC.
Thank you.
I saw the percentages and thought, no one must have been voting yet, then I saw the vote count and was surprised so many people were against more coverage. What is wrong with people?
They’d rather see more coverage of underwater basket weaving and horse buggy racing than MMA?

but apparently tractor pulls are still a big deal here.
ESPN: Close Call!!

How is 58 for/43 against a close call!?
