I agree. Plus it makes the sponsorship money issue moot. Do they or don’t they have to pay for the weigh ins, is it just in the octagon, what about their wraps on the way to the octagon, what about photos at UFC promos…so many issues.
BE should charge the sponsors as well whenever you publish pictures of competitors w/ shirts with ads.

I always found it sort of silly when you see shots of the promoter standing between the fighters.

Dana is trying to convince everyone that he is as tough as the fighters are and therefore belongs there – or just trying to remind everyone that HE is the main attraction.

“‘Sit down.’ He was trying to leave the UFC 100 press conference. … I’m telling you, nobody wants my job. Everybody thinks it looks good; it’s no fun. Try telling a 400-pound guy to sit down.”
