Aleksander Emelianenko (15-3) wants to fight in the UFC:
PRO MMA: Aleks, if possible would you like to fight in the UFC? What do you think of their heavyweight fighters and champion Brock Lesnar?
AE: "Yes I want to. I like their fight organization level, it is very high. There is just one thing about Brock Lesnar, I will beat him."
PRO MMA: If the UFC came to Russia, would you like to fight for them?
AE: "Of course I would."

Aleksander will obliterate Lesnar
I’m surprised DREAM hasn’t signed him. I heard the CSAC didn’t clear him cuz he has hepatitis. Is that true?

Elaboration
Lesnar would get KTFO! by Aleksander..Lesnar hasn’t fought anyone with Aleksander’s striking ability..He arguably has the fastest hands in the HW division, not to mention a pretty solid submission game. His two submission losses came against Barnett and Werdum and Lesnar is nowhere near that level.. Lesnars only chance would be ground n pound but Aleks is too good to get beat like that and if Lesnar got the fight to the ground he would have to avoid submissions. The fight on the ground would be a stalemate so the ref would stand them up where Aleksander would proceed to pick Lesnar apart. BTW Lesnar’s chin hasn’t been tested yet.. Couture tagged him a couple times but I doubt he posseses Aleksander’s power.

I don't know what you guys are talking about
Aleksander’s submission game is purple belt level at best. From what I’ve seen, his guard consists of rudimentary sweeps and holding the top man’s head down. I don’t think that he has ever submitted a guy from bottom, and it only took Werdum and Barnett a few minutes to sub him from the top position. He is a very technical boxer, and has some real power, but his takedown defense is mediocre at best.
I wouldn’t expect the fight to look any different than Lesnar/Herring, unless Brock learns a Jeff Monson style Jujitsu or Aleksander reads this

wowzers..
obliterating Lesnar is giving a lot of credibality to Aleks. He refuses to admit that he has a potentially life threatening, blood born disease (it’s kinda like fighting Magic Johnson, you’d win but who’d give a crap because you’d probably end up with a disease that could kill you in in few years). Aleks doesan’t even back up trash talk when confronted on camera (i.e. josh barnett) Wait. Did I miss sarcasm? Crap, sorry if i did…..

This would be a great move by the UFC, if he can get cleared. Sign him, treat him well and then along comes Big Bro.
If you're not submitting, you're just rolling around with another guy.

What’s up with him though? When is the last time he actually tried to get cleared to fight here, Affliction1? Did he get suspended or banned or something, I don’t understand.
I’d love to see hm fight Lesnar.

IIRC he said something about posting his medicals too late, which does not explain why the CSAC said he would never be cleared to fight in America, never ever.
A man should never waste an opportunity to keep his mouth shut.

am i missing something
i just watched some highlight reels and the pele fight. i think ANY HW fighter in the UFC would knock the hep out of him. he fights with his lead hand down, any HW fighter in the UFC would obliterate(literal since) HIM. is it the joke to say he is really good, he beat James Thompson, you know who else did, KIMBO, and HE doesnt even have a disease, thats why it took him so long?
good luck in life!

Trust me if his name was aleksander russow no one would even have him ranked as a top fighter, but because he shares the same last name as Fedor he’s gotten a lot more fans than his resume deserves.
