Bloody Elbow Reader Map: Meet Locally for UFC 100

This is a combination of posts by themachiavellian, nitro, and ufc4. If you have posted in their threads on a similar subject your Bloody Elbow user name and location may be shown on this map. I want to see if this can be turned into something more, however, than just a representaion of BE reader concentrations.
Around major events there is a scattered desire to meet with fellow readers, but this desire is mitigated and hampered by the lack of knowledge as to where other users may be. The goal of this is to indicate if there are any like-minded individuals, in reasonable proximity, who would be inclined to gather in a group setting for an event. Markers on the map for those who may be up for this will be changed to yellow to offset them from the more casual of readers.
If you are interested, indicate your desire in the comments section and I will change your marker. I can also add you to the map if you provide your location. Note: Please point out if you are willing to meet up or just want to be on the map. The marker detail of those inclined to meet up will contain a link to their BE profile (see extended entry for example). It would be easier for those who wish to contact you concerning an event if you have a public email listed on that profile.

nice. How packed does it get? We went to the Hooters in King of Prussia along time ago, but it got annoying with some of the fans there. We end up getting a lot of the PPV’s, but it would be great if we could find a spot anywhere in the city where they show them. We have also gone to a bar in Manayunk (i could list it, but i am pretty sure they don’t get completely legit because they don’t charge a cover, or at least they didn’t in the past) that was great when UFC started getting more popular right around the late 60’s early 70’s.
it gets pretty packed for both ufc and boxing. i get there at least 2 hours early to get a seat (you can get in free too before 9pm). it will be packed by main event time.

This is a great idea, kudos all around.
I just moved to San Diego last week (from Chicago), and have zero MMA friends (outside of my wife; who knows a bit more than the casual fan and will watch UFC events, but that’s it). I’d be willing to meet up with people to watch, but have a limited knowledge of the area.
