UFC Makes CroCop "Offer He Can't Refuse"?

http://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/ekskluzivno-vlasnik-ufca-dosao-po-cro-copa-u-zagreb/440197.aspx

Translation via the UG - I'm trying to find another online translator:
INDEX learn that Lorenzo Fertita, big boss and the owner of UFC's day in the morning private plane arrived at Zagreb airport Pleso. Immediately after landing sent to the house of Mirko Filipovic, where he spent two hours in talks with the Croatian fighters. After that, the smiling faces returned to the Pleso, where ga is a waiting aircraft, that the odletio in an unknown direction.

Filipovi? received a bid which is non-refundable

There is no doubt that the Fertita from America potegnuo even to Zagreb to the Croatian privolio Gladiator to change his opinion and sign a new contract with the strongest world organization. Tells us that the Cro Cop got an offer that is simply non-refundable. Although Filipovic remained unavailable for comment, it is clear that large can turn. Cro Copa will almost certainly re-look at the strongest MMA competition that the world currently knows, although it was announced that Filipovic will sign a contract with the Japanese Dream.

Fertita only by the greatest fighters

Remember, Cro Cop said after the fight against Al Turk refused to deal with Americans who are too rarely offered him the fight as the frequency of our fighters at the moment, when he finally zalije?io all the injuries, it is not suitable. Filipovic said that he was UFC's titles teškaška life's dream, but that does not plan to wait six months until the next fight. Obviously they are in the American organization Mirko decided this time to offer terms that suit him more. That Cro Cop is extremely important, evidenced by the fact that the big boss Lorenzo Fertita even personally came to Zagreb by Filipovic. This is practically a precedent because it almost always does such direktor UFC's Dana White.

lol

To everyone who was crying “The UFC will never sign him now!! He burnt his bridges!!”, wake up already. $$$ = $$$, negotiations = negotiations.

This isn’t to you Nick, this is to the people who gave me shit for not jumping on the “omg Cro Cop lied to his fans!” wagon.

Dude, he hasn’t signed shit yet. Let’s all calm down until something – anything – is official.

I can’t imagine they’d reward Cro Cop for getting salmonella and missing the next DREAM.

This was just random

But I will religiously try to stop you from misrepresenting Couture/Lesnar as a freak show fight instead of a fight between two people that made weight.

YUP

I have been telling everyone that Cro Cop can give a rats azz about promotions, loyalty, etc.
He goes where the $$$ is.

Same with the UFC. Business is business.

Do testicles have a life dream? Regardless, I like your translation.

I think the translation is “He wants to hold the UFC title for the most shots to the testicles”

So Zuffa plans on signing Overeem next?

Kidding, kinda…And for the record, I think Overeem was on his way to winning that fight.

Did Josip Iole write this?

If this does happen, a Cro Cop/Kongo rematch would be quite nice.

Cro Cop/Hardonk much more intriguing.

Cro Cop/dos Santos

Give the kid with bricks for hands a quality win.

Strangely enough, I think that would be a good fight.

Sanchez was obviously scared shitless in that first fight, but Cro Cop doesn’t scare anyone these days. I think Sanchez would fight a much looser fight if that rematch were ever to occur and would make things interesting …. before getting decapitated.

Why beat around the bush? Let’s get Cro Cop/Couture.

Truth be told, the last time they wanted to have that match, CC got kicked in the head by Gonzaga. If Randy loses to Nog, maybe just take out the middleman and have that fight.

by subo on Jul 3, 2009 3:42 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

And if Nog loses just make the CC/Nog rematch.

Not bad

So what's the offer he can't refuse

Typically when a Fertita gets on a plane to meet a fighter it means he won’t be signing with the UFC.

CroCop vs. Mir/Lesnar winner…

by madiq on Jul 3, 2009 9:37 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Was that a joke?

Even with everything that went down I don’t think Dana is mad enough at him to want to see him killed.

Due to Cheick Kongo's atrocious takedown defense....

I will assume as soon as he signs with the UFC all will be forgiven, and everyone will start their fantasy matchups and get excited now, although he was the devil a few weeks ago.

What I was trying to tell everyone was that even if he did fight in the July DREAM event, and maybe 1 or 2 more fights, he would still come back to the UFC because as other posters put it, money talks. I guess people didn’t get that before and all this loyalty and exclusiveness talk got everyone worked up.

by MMASuPreMaCy on Jul 4, 2009 2:01 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

He has no fans now

Remember he’s a traitor, devious manipulator, every thing he said post conference was {expletive} {expletive} lie. Lets not forget all the fans posts everyone published with quotes and tidbits information pointing to a CroCop DREAM conspiracy and general douchebaggery.

I hope he does sign and gets a major UFC push. I’d love to have all caddy, 12 year old girls who post on this site have to re-apply their lips to his ass.
