Yes, I know he is the best Heavyweight in the world but at this point I really just dont care if he goes to the UFC. I think he has made it very clear that he isn't interested in fighting there. The conference call today was nothing but BS, his manager wouldn't answer any real questions and its obvious that he has his best interest in mind, not Fedors.
For him to make the demand that M-1 would have to co-promote for Fedor to fight in the UFC, is pretty much the same as saying sure Fedor will sign as long as Dana runs around naked covered in jelly during all Fedor's fights. Its not happening.
The UFC doesn't need Fedor, and they also don't need to get into bed with the seedy crew that controls him. The UFC shouldn't change all of their policies for one fighter that realistically may not even be that large of a draw. Sure the Lesnar fight would do huge numbers but if he won that fight would fights with Carwin, Cain, and Dos Santos do numbers even close to the numbers that Brock would do fighting those guys? I doubt it. A Couture/Fedor fight would be big but would it be any bigger than Couture/Lesnar 2?
Lastly (and I know this might get some Fedor lovers angry) Fedor hasn't looked nearly as good lately. IMO he is no longer in his prime, he was getting tooled by Arlovski before the KO, took a beating against HMC before the armbar, didnt look to sharp against a 185lb Lindland, and almost got submitted by Mark Hunt. Sure he decimated Sylvia, but so did Mercer. I think that Fedor has never been more vulnerable to lose, and that he wouldnt be able to get through Lesnar, Carwin, and Cain without at least one loss.
