Additional NSAC Proposed Rule Changes

There is already a post on the main page regarding the rule change proposal put forward by the NSAC, outlining the excellent decision to allow certain non-title fights to be 5 rounds. Some other interesting points have been included in the proposal:

"4. A referee may view a replay, if available, at the conclusion of a contest or exhibitionstopped immediately due to an injury to an unarmed combatant pursuant to NAC 467.718 in order to determine whether the injury in question was caused by a legal blow or a foul."

The introduction of reply for questionable blows is a great beginning to visual assistance for referees.

Also, in an addition to items consider to be fouls or violations in a fight:

32. Applying any foreign substance to the hair or body that could result in an advantage.

I guess depending on your point of view you can call this the "GSP Rule" or the "BJ Rule". Makes sense that they make this an offical foul.

Nice pro-active activities by the commission... if only we could get knees to a downed opponent.
