Jason MacDonald (21-12) is set to face TUF Season 4 winner Travis Lutter (9-5) at MFC 22 in October:

"Both fighters have exceptional jiu-jitsu skills so there is no doubt this fight will hit the mat -- that is, unless one of them decides their striking is better than the other's."

WHAT

It ends in an armbar or a strangle regardless.

Weird that Lutter is getting yet another shot...

I figured Dana severed any contact with him.

Good fight.

Lutter is the better fighter, but his cardio is dogshit.

I can see this one being an early finish for Lutter or a late finish for McDonald.

McDonald by Canada power!

Its always safe to bet on the guy who has cardio, Jason survived 2.5 rounds with Maia on the ground, he should be able to get through Lutter.

Keep firing Assholes!

Thanks to Bisping's reenactment of the Battle of Cowpens, walla walla walla I'm an idiot.

I still love Lutter for his match with Anderson Silva. That was by far the most exciting fight of Silva’s UFC career.

Both are on the betting game prize t-shirt, btw.

Disintegration -- I'm taking it in stride.

damn that sucks

I would have definitely liked to seen this fight on an up coming UFC undercard. I think Jason has what it takes to ktfo of luter. I doubt he could beat him on the mat though, but definitely standing.
