The Dana White Announcement Guessing Game
This is a time killer until the announcement is made. His history of "big announcements" sucks, but with Affliction going bye bye it might be interesting.
So, I'm thinking it'll be about:
-Affliction's fall as an mma promotion, and them being sponsors again.
-Tito Ortiz's signing
-UFC being a step closer to signing Fedor
-Coleko's kidnapping for his conspiracy theories
What else do you guys think?
You don't win shit here. This is just for kicks. I suck at attempted threads and writing so I'll end it here.

My problem is that he didnt even announce it. He just said that its a possibility. Thats not an announcement.
I understand
I didn’t mean that against you, I meant it against Tito. :)

hmmmm
Well he just no-sold the Tito announcement. “Is Tito back in the UFC?” “It’s a possibility.”
It ends in an armbar or a strangle regardless.
If and when that happens, I’m sure Sherwood will be as confused by the reconciliation as he is by the falling out.

But Iole NEVER says anything that’s wrong! And if he does he’ll change it!

CroCop WAS 100% fighting for DREAM
Then he got salmonella.
Some people might say that winning a fight makes you a better fighter but I don’t agree with that.- BlueberryMuffin
so if Iole’s standard for truth holds, then agreements have been discussed but not signed, which would make sense that Dana didn’t want to say.
Not really
Dana was complimenting their shirt making capabilities and was careful with his words, similarly to when he was questioned about Tito. Both are true.

I'm fucking done with this shit...
I’m done with this lame interview. Dana isn’t going to say a thing. Someone call in and put it to Dana.

From what they just said, it looks like that’s cofield hoping that he can get dana to say something on air about all the shit that’s going on today, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen.
What’s the point of doing an interview if you’re not going to say anything important? They’re talking like they’re around a water cooler.
This wasn’t scheduled today as a result of what happened today. This has been in the works for weeks as part of a radiothon. If all the t’s aren’t crossed and the i’s dotted why ruin it? Talk about the same bullshit he had planned on before, build up to a future “big announcement” that he has time to hype it up.
Yeah caller!
The UFC could kick Dream and Sengoku right out of Japan!

Franklin Vs. Tito? Woah.....
Brad Ziegler had a scoreless inning streak. Brad Ziegler had not met BJ Upton.
Franklin was apparently pushing for the Henderson fight. I’d guess they’d be adding a whole other fight to it.
People seem to have this impression, but Rich says it ain't so
"I never really approached the UFC about [a rematch], but I think I’ve been outspoken about the fact that I thought I won the fight the first time and all that kind of stuff. I think from their end, they were looking for a good matchup. I know we’re going to go head-to-head with the (Floyd) Mayweather (boxing) fight, and [the UFC] needed a big fight. You put me up against just a no-name 205-pound fighter, it’s not going to draw a lot of public attention, and they needed something, I guess, and they come up with the idea of Henderson."

I’m taking it from the 5oz of pain interview posted 3 days ago::
""So after the first fight there was a desire to fight [Silva] again, but the second time he just legitimately beat me. Well, he legitimately beat me both times, but even if I wanted to fabricate some excuse, I just couldn’t. The same thing goes for Lyoto. He’s a great fighter, and he beat me. I can put my head down on my pillow at night and say, ‘These are the fights that I’ve lost.’ If I don’t fight them again I’m not going to lose any sleep over it… However, you take a fight like the Henderson loss, where I really, truly feel like I won that fight, then that’s the one that I would definitely like to fight again."
That could be post-announcement PR crap though. I personally was hoping for Jon Jones/Franklin, but oh well.
Dana White will announce
The return of Kalib Starnes, who will fight Thales Leites to headline UFC 108.
"And Joe for Matt Hughes, dislike may not be a strong enough adjective!" - Mike Goldberg
I'll be perfectly honest here...
Maybe 195 is a viable option, dependent on two or three signing (one of which is Tito). There’s a lot of talent floating around 205 (and some at 185) that could comprise a seriously talented bunch.

And who would be the champion… Anderson Silva.

By then, Silva will be the champion of all divisions, including WEC.

Scotty23 and stanlee just made me have a nice little chuckle over here in my side of the woods that was funny.
Anyways I couldn’t listen to it and probably still can’t. Anything eventful happen? By the comments it seems not really?

Not much other than...
The one guy who bought the spot to be on the show was wasting a ton of potential caller question time by quizzing Dana on Buckeyes and shit and generally just being a complete and utter assclown. Seriously, I’ve calmed down a bit from last night but I found myself wishing someone would have bottled that dude across the head so I wouldn’t have to hear him anymore. He kept trying to talk to Dana like Dana was going to care about what he had to say about Whatevertown, Ohio and all this other bullshit. It was painful.

how about a wanderlei tito rematch @ 205.wanderlei said he wants 2 fight @ lhw also similar 2 henderson.they could hype it up as a revenge match.I think its perfect two of d most popular and exiting fighters weather u lve em or hate em ull definitly watch this match.if tito wins then hes “back” with a win over silva,if silva wins then he can re-establish himself as a prominent fighter among the elite with a win over a big name like tito and he can have his revenge.you heard it here first.bring it on!
Wanderlei is moving to 185 and is also not interested in fighting that soon.
