OMG!
The real question is how much money is he asking for.

Oh yeah, I am assuming he can if enough $$$ was thrown at him.

I don’t think he would.

Oh come on
It isn’t even realistic for him to take this fight…on TEN days notice? That’s beyond stupid regardless of money…I said this when Straka first lobbied for Affliction to sign Ortiz for this fight earlier today.

Plus Tito is trying to get back in Dana’s good graces. If he wants to keep negotiating leverage he shouldn’t run to Affliction and get destroyed by Fedor.

This is the smartest Tito has sounded in years.
Hopefully it can translate to him getting his career back on track. I’ve always been a fan of his, although not really a fan of some of the things he says.

Tito isn’t even that stupid.
He does need a comeback fight first.

Emelianenko def. Ortiz, TEO (technical ego knockout)
He must’ve been tempted for a very long moment about taking the fight. If he lost, he could chalk it up to a lack of preparation, rustiness and a well prepared, superior opponent. If he won, he could include a bj from Dana White in his terms to resigning with the UFC.
But Ortiz, surprisingly enough, isn’t big enough of an idiot to go through with it. Even a well prepared Ortiz would get overwhelmed by Emelianenkos’ striking and in a slightly longer but still as decisively overwhelming ground fight.
And the last thing we want to see is Jenna Jameson run into the ring, sobbing over the misshapen carcass of the Huntington Beach Dead Guy.

Is it just me or does it seem like ever since Tito and Dana made up a ton of Tito fans have been coming out of the woodwork? lol
Personally I can’t wait till he’s back in the Octagon. Him and Brock are the only guys that can create a ton of drama aka $$$ right now. UFC knows this. I’d like to see him against a James Irvin, Matt Hamill or Thiago Silva for his first fight back. Love him or hate him, you’re paying attn to what he does.
GSP: I pulled my groin.
Greg Jackson: I don't care Georges! HIT HIM WITH YOUR GROIN!

i’d love to see him fight Hamill, as Hamill was his butt buddy on TUF

I have always been a fan regardless. It seems like he is not the most intelligent person with some of his comments and what not but I love to watch him fight – I don’t really care about the feud with Dana.
I met Tito at a book signing and he was a really nice guy and so polite. My kids really enjoyed talking to him too, he listened to them and was very attentive. He didn’t rush people thru and seemed just as fresh and energized with each person that came up next in line.
"Wait a minute. What did you just say? You're predicting $4-a-gallon gas? ... That's interesting. I hadn't heard that." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Feb. 28, 2008
