From the way he was talking, it doesn’t really sound like he made it to the finals.

I never expected him to.. did you see the list of guys he were in with?
But i’m still rooting for him.. He’s the biggest underdog there and it will surely be fun to watch..
I hope he gets at least one win, ya know? ;)

He sure is singing the right song.
I think this season is going to be remarkably devoid of ‘little man syndrome’ and be a pleasure to watch.

I'm interested....
granted I am rather new to the sport and this is only my second comment on the site. The interview made him sound like he wanted to learn and earn his way in. Definitely what you want to hear. From what little I have seen of him, I get the vibe of a guy with physical tremendous talent and attributes that were wasted on people that didn’t want to turn him into a great fighter…just exploit his natural ability for a quick buck. He was a gimmick for EliteXC and they never tried to build on his potential. I think he is definitely passed his prime but in my mind, he could make a mark in the UFC, and judging for his mike skills in this one interview (side note I am quite drunk right now) I think he has the ability to be a personality in this sport. Even if he ends up not going far in the UFC, he has a marketable life story. I guess through all my gibberish….I am pulling for the guy and really looking forward to see the Kimbo, the one in that interview, achieve success on the TV. Now if he ends up being some f-ing psycho screaming at the camera and attacking people in the house left and right….well I will be annoyed. But as it stands, I am looking forward to the next season of the Ultimate Fighter.

Looking forward to your third comment.
If you see Mark Coleman in person, drop $5 on the floor and watch the fun as he tries in vain to bend down and pick it up.

Am the only one who thinks that when Wes Sims was getting an autograph from Kimbo, he looked like if Weird Al’s brother had a pitutary disorder?

He’s saying all of the right things, but I’ll wait until I see the fruit of his efforts to see how serious he is. He seems to be making the most of these opportunities though and for that he has surprised me greatly.

Yeah suprised me too.So much for being a mindless street thug. I think hes been the victim of shitty management in the past. I wish him all the best.
Holy snapping duck shit...

Don't know about that
His management sure made him alot of money, and got him an arguably undeserved shot at getting a UFC contract (Speaking purely from a potential fighting standpoint, obviously he deserves the shot for what else he can bring the UFC)

What was with the random Grappler’s Quest footage? Am I missing something?

Grappler’s quest was part of the fan expo.

Is as relevant as having Junie Browning at LW.

Not a Kimbo fan, but...
I’ve heard, and from what I’ve seen in interviews, he seems like a pretty cool guy. Not a cocky prick like the media portrays him. I don’t think he’ll do well on the show, and if the spoilers are true that I’ve seen, I’m right. I respect him in that he’s entered a house full of other mma fighters with a lot more experience than him, and believes in himself. I just don’t see him winning a fight at all. Not with that chin of his. Leaving Bas was a dumb mistake though. But I hear he’s a hardass to be trained by(which is what I’d want in a trainer, but some can’t handle it). My money is on Roy Nelson. Great jitsu and good, fast hands for a big bellied HW. Happy watching guys!!

Kimbo and the UFC are likely to make a lot of money off each other but I’ve got a feeling he’ll end up the heavyweight version of Houston Alexander.
