Randy says that
but he has to realize that if he ever earns another shot at Brock he’ll be glad Brock’s such a dick because the ppv split will be that much bigger.

Randy might want to rethink a rematch. Brock dribbled his head like a basketball if he enforces the GNP he did to Mir it could be a very bad night for Randy. He has done better than anybody else to face Brock though. But Brock is a supreme athlete with a insane work ethic dude is only going to get better and more comfortable inside the octagon. Randy is the hero/good guy but this aint a movie the good guy doesn’t always win in the end
It will be harder for Brock to ground and pound Randy like he did Mir… I do think Randy had a good shot in the first fight if he lasted another round. Brock was dead tired and Randy was getting better.
Brock now has a new “fighters” physique that requires less oxygen so his cardio looks real good. His breathing was excellent by the time he finished Mir – so I think Randy’s chances in the rematch would be less.
I think he is looking good, and this was a good interview.
The promotional push behind a rematch with Randy as the guy representing the integrity of the sport against Lesnar would be the next record-breaking PPV. I know Randy wants the rematch badly and thinks he could win, I guess we’ll see. I think denying him given what he’s done is unfair, especially considering his injury in the first fight.
If he beats Nog decisively I think he should get the shot. I guess we’ll see how he and Nog look, Nog submitting him would warrant a shot too in my opinion.
It all depends on his contract extension. Randy can also face Machida if Rashad ends up beating Rampage.
Sequels almost always do better than the original… so I agree Brock vs Randy 2 would be huge.
Not to mention the sell now is totally different.
In that fight the issues in the promotion were: age, inexperience, randy’s return. This time the issues are what Brock did at 100 and Randy would be a bigger underdog. Real heat dynamic, it would be insane business.
The Machida option is an interesting one too. MIght make some sense considering if Rashad beats Rampage and Silva beats Forrest, that division is in some deep shit business wise.
