The Croatian heavyweight star has apparently signed a three-fight deal with the company, Zuffa co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta told UFC fans during a question-and-answer session during Saturday's pre-UFC 100 Fan Expo.

Mirko Cro Cop Shakes Things Up, as He Makes Drastic Changes to His Training Camp In Preparation for His UFC 110 Bout Against Ben Rothwell:

"After the defeat by Dos Santos, Filipovic has announced drastic changes in the training methods and composition of Team CroCop,"

"Marjan Zizanovic is no longer his boxing coach. Instead, CroCop is now working with the Dutch Muay Thai legend Ivan Hippolyte, who these days resides in Zagreb. Filipovic will combine training at his own facility with visits to the Netherlands where he can train with top-notch sparring partners,"

"Igor Pokrajac, CroCop’s long-time friend and sparring partner, is also no longer in Filipovic's team. Pokrajac continues his career with the UFC, but is no longer training with Filipovic although the pair remain on good terms."

"UFC was the black spot in my career, in my life, and I’m the man who dedicates his life to fighting sport and I just want to justify the contract Dana White gave me two years ago by calling me when I came from PRIDE. It just bothers me. Like every fighter in the world, in the beginning of his career, motivation for most of them is money and to secure for his life and for his family you know. But today those things are behind me and I have maybe the strongest and best motivation. I just want to return on the top and I just want to prove to everyone, they were wrong. They were wrong you know. I just hope that God will give me the strength that I can prove my worth. I don’t like to talk too much now on the phone about it because I have to prove my worth in the cage and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Definitely I have a very very high motivation. I was never motivated like this in my career. Never. Definitely, never."
