K-1 World MAX 2009 Finals on July 13th, Kawajiri, Yamamoto Participate
In case you haven't been paying attention to the world of K-1, the final media run for the participants is taking place this week. Here's what the rundown of the card looks like according to Nightmare of Battle:

There are some must-see fights on this, most notably the superfight between Tatsuya Kawajiri and Masato. "Kid" Yamamoto will be participating in a superfight as well, along with Buakaw Por. Pramuk, Artur Kyshenko and Andy Souwer, and the technical prowess of the great Giorgio Petrosyan. Oh yeah... boring HIROYA is fighting as well. Get excited for that one.

This didn’t get lost in the weeds with all the coverage on 100 going on this weekend.
Kyshenko vs. Souwer is a helluva a Final 8 matchup.
I’m looking forward to several of these fights.

I can’t stand Hiroya, and there are a LOT of hardcore K-1 fans who feel the same way. The reason… K-1 babies this fucking guy. He easily lost a couple decisions in some past events and was given gift wins. I can’t stand that bullshit.
