Jones finished O’Brien with a D’Arce, not a Guillotine

in 55 seconds!

Time for him to go now, I think.

I also don't know how anal you want to be, Nate...

but Gugerty’s and Lawlor’s guillotines should be considered “technical submissions”, since both Grice and Dollaway were apparently choked unconscious without tapping.

CB tapped, just the ref didn’t see it :P

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

Apparently Danzig nearly had Miller with a gullotine at the end of the second. If this keeps up, they’re going to have to rename it: “UFC 100: Guillotine”

If Miller loses that will suckkkk.

Don’t take that seriously, I was making light of CB’S habit of phantom tapping.

I’m so happy that Miller won gotta give it to Danzig though he looked really good and the fight was close so he should get another shot hopefully. Now WTF? has happened to Bonnar the guy had so much potential early on and now he is losing to washed up Coleman wow.

What did the Coleman v.s. Bonnar fight look like? Was it all lay & pray or something?

by iTap on Jul 12, 2009 1:55 AM EDT reply actions

Coleman did a number on Bonnar’s face on the ground (definitely contributed to all that blood on the mat), and even attempted a choke towards the end of the fight but it was definitely a classic Mark Coleman ground and pound fight.

by Lyrias on Jul 12, 2009 9:59 AM EDT up reply actions

Well, sucks to be Bonnar, but WAR COLEMAN! Looks like Randy Couture does not quite have the monopoly on age being nothing but a number.

I do feel sorry for Bonnar, though. After this, it will certainly be a while until he gets back onto the main card.
