Marcus Jones is scary
He appears to be the most athletic of the bunch. If the coaches do a good of training him he has a very real chance of winning this thing. I’m goin with the former 1st round defensive lineman to run the table.
Im looking at the height and weight of the fighters that junkie posted and Kimbo Slice is the lightest heavyweight, There are 6+ fighters that weight 260 one of them weighs 275. 2 of them are 6’6" or taller.
This show has the potential of all of these fighters being signed to the UFC.
Effective HYPE!
This is a great promo spot. It sells the coaches’ charisma, showcases Kimbo, and conjures the excitement of two teams cheering on their fighters. Can’t wait.

I still can’t believe they put Big Country and Wes Sims on there. Nelson is a pretty bad dude, I can see him getting pretty far, if not taking it all.

Dana solves two problems with this show…
1)Wow to make $$$ off those who want to see Kimbo in the UFC without actually going back on previous statements and without sacrificing credibility
and
2) How to address the dearth of quality heavyweights in the division. He’s basically restocking the talent pool for his weakest division in one fell swoop.
This season may go down as one of the best marketing moves Dana has ever made.

Kimbo. The guy in the video looks to have a beard. Moreover, Kimbo is a much darker black than Jones, and the guy in the video is very dark.
I’m not so sure. Looks to me that the guy is all bald in the video and Kimbo has hair over his ears and around the back of his head. I don’t really see a beard either.

when kimbo is pacing/doing the staredown, it looks like Rampage is in his corner. Nice!!!

This one looks good. I still say Kimbo wins one, then gets knocked or tapped out.
That was a great commercial. The UFC is really stepping up their marketing. Honestly, I think that’s one of the biggest stories since the beginning of the year: the UFC’s marketing folks getting their shit together.

NFL kicks off the 13th then this on the 16th! It’s like X-mas in September…..can not wait for summer to end!!!!!!
I hope they keep the song from this video for the season theme. If for no other reason, then just to give us a change from the current one. I’m getting tired of that one.
