Only two more events to go in this season of MMAPlayground's betting game. The next event is UFC 99 this Saturday. The last event will be The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale on June 20th. Important: If you wish to join the Bloody Elbow betting ensemble, send me a message or leave a comment in this thread so I can send you an invite. Please make sure your login name is the same as your BE name or as close as possible.
Updated camp rankings in our Super Heavyweight division (60+ members) after UFC 98:
The event winners for our team after UFC 98 were snet_tim and virginiatech. Snet_tim was our highest earner for the event using under $1,000, earning $710 with $600 in wagers. Virginiatech ranked #27 out of 5544 with 73 points awarded based on fight predictions.
Overall, however, the BE team is holding last place in our division. This is due in large part to the self-imposed betting limit of $1,000 for this season, but we are also holding last in terms of picking percentage. There will be no betting limit starting at UFC 100.

Half on a Parlay on franklin Cain and buchholz.. Half on buchholz..

Buchholz is at +620 and al Turk is at +710
But I’m putting him in a parlay so I’ll have a bigger potential reward than betting straight up al Turk.
Plus I think al Turk gets KOed in the first and buchholz actually has a chance to win it.
But what do I know? I’m the guy with cash cause mcfedries and soszynskiesteryiknhdkdb ruined my parlay..

If we can translate from our secondary league (first 2 events of this season, we have had 2 top 5 for Strikeforce and WEC) over to the UFC pick them, then… well… we will be number 4 or 3 overall.
It doesn’t matter. This $1000 dollar limit crushes us in the wagering portion. When is this getting taken out?
