This is a digital sketch of Mirko CroCop by FullTechnic
With his UFC return in Germany coming up, i decided to make this a triple feature of one of PRIDE's biggest stars, Mirko Cro Cop. The first feature is from PositiveBalance, this is one of my favorites because it is a traditional oil painting that sets a specific mood that very much fits Mirko's persona. The second piece is by AlleyCatsGarden. What can I say, I am a big fan of his work, and i think he's one of the best sketch artists out there. The third featured artwork is a digital sketch by FullTechnic that looks great in it's simplicity.
Most pieces that I featured in this Mixed Martial Artwork series have been digital paintings, so I think it is refreshing to see a more traditional feel to things this time. This is also the second time i featured artwork from both AlleyCatsGarden and FullTechnic, and i'm sure I'll be able to feature their other work because they are just that good.

You do know that this loss will be used by fedor haters as ammo right?
They’ll say the normal stuff people say to discredit wins.. He wasn’t really that good and fedor fought borderline top10 fighter in sylvia and. Glassjawed AA and now a washed up fighter who almost got knocked out by a guy under his full mount..

AA has a glass chin, Sylvia’s biggest wins were AA and Barnett roided against Couture.

yeah still not impressed… gonna take alot more than him beating Josh Barnett for me to crown him top p4p fighter.
Before you kill me take a look at things from my POV. I started watching the sport shortly before its spikeTV rebirth. Since then I have heard this guy do alot of talking (even more demanding) but not alot of actual fighting. Looking through his won/loss record I see alot of names that i know were very talented at the time but I see even more cakewalks (sylvia, hunt) and even more freak shows (hong man choi, mark hunt). Whats his last BIGTIME win?? BigNog on NYE 2004?? CroCop in 2005 (a win nearly 4 years ago against a guy who ,as much as i love him, has been a disappointment since pride ended)??

Its not just who he beats; its his mystique, the manner in which he defeats his opponents, and his speed and strength, and his aparrent lack of weaknesses.

quick, mystical wins or not he has not faced an opponent in 5 years that I would put ahead of middle level UFC talent (ex. Cheick Kongo)

basically
i was conservative politically, was banned without being given a reason by positivebalance, who is liberal. Alot of conservative posters got banned in the same way.
