Faber submitted Pulver seconds later winning just 1:34 into the fight. Versus' announcer Craig Hummer then caught Pulver off guard by asking him if he was still relevant:

"That kind of stung. It was a kick in the stomach. I couldn't stop the tears and I could hear the crowd getting into it," Pulver then toughened up dropping an f-bomb as he switched courses in a matter of seconds. "I kind of forgot where I was. I think I was kind of telling myself f-that. You're not done."
