man

that is going to be one hell of a fight. and one hell of a card.
barring last-minute disasters, the UFC has really delivered for UFC 100.

Not sure why

But I have a weird feeling that Frank Mir is going to pull out due to an injury. Or if he loses he’ll blame it in an injury he sustained during training.

Card too good to be true?

He already very publicly postponed this fight due to injury.

To fight now and claim he was injured would be obviously untruthful. If he was willing to pull out due to injury before, he’s willing to do so now.

If this fight happens, Mir has no excuses.

I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.

if alves manages to win...

… that’ll make him only the second ufc fighter (since sylvia) to serve a drug suspension, and go on to hold a title, no?

bit of a leap to say it sends a message to people who are thinking about using, but i do find it interesting that fighters can manage to escape that stigma, easier than athletes in other sports.

IMO,

ever since I saw him get subbed by Spencer Fisher and beat a wayyy past-his-prime Hughes, I was never much on Alves. He did impress me in the Koscheck fight for sure though. But in the end, GSP by Canadian Murder.

Ok I have a question for you

being a Canadian myself, what do you define “Canadian Murder”, is that death by maple syrup, poutine, or a bad french accent? ;)

To be honest,

I define “Canadian Murder” as watching an entire episode of Degrassi, but in GSP’s case, I’d say it is anytime that he unleashes his “riddum” on an unsuspecting opponent. Haha.
