Dana forgot after Tom Antencio spoke up:

"[White] did say something [about Belfort]." "I’m talking to [Belfort’s] management, so we’re in negotiations. Where Dana came up with that, I don’t know. Maybe he’s just trying to stir the pot. That’s what he does and he does it well."

"Maybe he wants to get hit with a tampering charge." "I just don’t know, I can’t speak for Dana. I’m sure he just wants to stir the pot, like I said."

This interview (well the belfort part) is keyboard cat worthy.

So Chuck is coming back, most likely against Franklin, Huerta/Maynard is a go and it sounds like Dana really wants to keep Huerta. Looks like that fight will indeed be on Spike and not UFC 103 in Dallas. Sucks because I’m supposed to be attending that one.

Also, LOL at Danas sudden amnesia.

Don’t know how old this interview is but he should have asked him his thoughts on the Atencio fight. You know he saw it. Maybe not live but probably the next day.

Either Dana has sudden amnesia or he probably got a call from Atencio lawyer on possible tampering.

Dana is having fun with it, if Atencio’s lawyer contacted the UFC’s small army of lawyers then the UFC would have a way to drain Afflction of money in court for something that would never go anywhere at all. You don’t think that piece on SpikeTV wasn’t cleared by lawyers and PR men before it even made it close to airing do you? Heck they put enough into it to have a video clip, no way they went to air with that without a legal ok first. White is just stirring the pot.

He should have played him the sound bite where he talks about Vitor.

Huerta’s management must have negotiated a better contract. The UFC doesn’t want to let him go because he can really help them market the UFC in Mexico. That and they don’t want another promotion to scoop him up. I know he says that he wants to pursue his acting career but I really hope he chooses to fight a few more rounds.
