Has anyone seen the magazine yet? Is it worth buying?

I don't understand
why does Alves have all the girls arund him? GSP is the champ should’t he have all the chicks?
by Bandaka on Jun 26, 2009 9:29 AM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Never Ever
I think GSP likes his main consort and doesn’t do much with the ones he wins other than talk. Alves clearly likes keeping them around longer. Prolly insecure.

GSP getting greased in the beginning of the photo shoot? Grease Gate 2?

old habits die hard.
(I would probably admit to cheating too if I had some of that fluff rubbing grease on me)

Agreed.
I hate this kind of shit. UFC “Lifestyle” whatever that means… Dana on the cover, fighters in a cheesy photoshoot…
This is as lame as it gets.

wow
i actually really liked it. i was partial to the lesnar/mir photo shoot myself.
i can understand why the UFC would go down this route. personally i’m not just all about people getting their faces pounded in (mostly, but not all) and a magazine that covers the fighter lifestyle is a refreshing idea in a market that already has several magazines covering the norm (fights, fight predictions… did i mention fights?)
to each their own.

Thats all good. I’d like to know more about my favorite fighters and how the mma community operates as well. I’m just not a fan of dumb staged photoshoots. Candid images, behind the scenes stuff is always great. Theres just no need to turn this into a GQ with fighters.

the fighter lifestyle
i am also very interested in the fighter lifestyle but this is the lifestyle for about 15-20 of the fighters in the world and thiago alves isnt even making enough yet to really live that life
i am interested int he real life of the majority of fighters the ones that cant make enough to pay rent so they live in the gym. im less interested in a fake chance meeiting in wait appears to be a kettle one vodka commercail
and it certainly isnt my lifestyle, and it definatly isnt brock lesnar’s style.

Alves isn't?
Go pick up last months Fight Mag and read the cover article, then rethink that comment.

UFC Mag is a great Idea.
The photo shoot themes are cheesey. Bisping is a Gangsta! GSP looked uncomfortable. Alves is a man-whore, he was lovin it.
Notice the chick in the pool eventually loses her top. They had a lot more fun than we got to see.

Yeah
That was pretty awesome. At the end of the day it’s all just business.

At 1:01-1:02 of the GSP/Alves video,
some broad gives Alves an indiscreet, hearty wang swipe. Check it out.

They should have had a photoshoot for Sexyama and Belcher. The tangerine jacket would have owned
