Standing with Brock seems like a really really really really really really really bad idea. Its only a matter of time until one of his Extendo-Arms© gets you.
Keep firing Assholes!
Out out, you demons of stupidity!

I think that's the key
How well Frank can judge Brock’s range and either be in or out. With how long Brock’s arms are the range is different than most people.
I feel the same, but I do feel that he honestly has a 50/50 chance of winning. The fight should be dictated by Lesnar though, so wherever the fight goes, Mir will have to adjust to that situation.

Frank can’t take him down. Frank can’t knock him down. It’s miracle submission or bust.

come on now
Since when do we know that Lesnar has got a granite chin? Yes his reach, threat of the takedown make getting close to Brock for a standup attack problematic. Yes Randy had problems hitting Lesnar cleanly, but then again Randy was never known for his punching power either, so I don’t know if Lesnar’s is more Hendo or Arlovski in the taking punishment department
I’m not saying that Mir has even good standup, but Brock’s chin still has questions to answer.
Lesnar is very good and he could be great, but let’s see him deal with some flush heavy shots before he is deemed incapable of being knocked out
Randy caught him clean a couple of times – not at full range, but still.

With Frank Mir you can never tell what part is mind games and what part he actually believes. If he believes standing with Brock is a good idea and that his ground and pund is just “annoying” then he’s in for a rough night.
Kuwabara Kuwabara
This will be interesting. Franks striking looked better than I’ve ever seen it when he fought Nog. On the other hand, Brock is still pretty green in the cage and he looked a little freaked out a few times when Randy hit him and pushed him up against the fence.
Then again, Brock seems to hit every guy he fights with his x-tra long right cross and Frank isn’t known for his chin…
I’m so pumped for this fight the closer it gets the more excited I become, it’s going to be great seeing Frank tap Lesnar again and after the last Fight Night I need something to celebrate about.
I too am really pumped for this fight. The brute force of Lesnar may be too much for Mir to handle — but my gut is telling me that Mir has come up with a brilliant game plan to avoid Lesnar, pick him apart, and force him into the later rounds. This is where we could see Brock struggle to find his gas tank. The bigger the guy the more energy it takes to sustain him. Brock essentially could lay on Mir if they indeed make it to the later rounds, however we know what happens when you’re on the mat with a jujitsu specialist of Frank Mir’s caliber.
“I think the stand-up is my advantage and the ground is my advantage. I can’t wait.”
Sounds like Brock should be practicing his flying knee-bars or flying guillotines if he wants a chance to finish this fight. His only advantage, apparently is mid-air.
Spinning out solid gold, like Rumpelstiltskin.
