UFC November Events: 105 in the UK on Spike, 106 in Las Vegas on PPV

MMA Junkie has a report on new additions to the UFC's fall calendar today:
The Nevada State Athletic Commission recently updated its online calendar, showing the UFC had formally requested a Nov. 21 event date at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Additionally, multiple sources have told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the Vegas event, UFC 106, will likely follow a Nov. 14 UFC 105 event, a show expected to take place in the U.K. (possibly Manchester) that would air on Spike TV.
UFC 105 would air on free basic cable and help promote the following week's pay-per-view offering.
This is not the first time the UFC has stacked back-to-back weekends with two numbered events. In similar fashion, UFC 89 aired for free on Spike TV from the UK on October 18th, 2008, while the following weekend saw UFC 90 emanate from Chicago on pay-per-view on the 25th.

No bouts have been rumored for either event yet, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the most recent winners of The Ultimate Fighter, Ross Pearson and James Wilks, on 105, the UK event. Provided they are in decent fighting shape, the usual European suspects (Terry Etim, Paul Taylor, Paul Kelly, Dan Hardy, Dennis Siver, Stefan Struve, Mostapha Al-Turk) will probably end up on the 105 card as well. Dana White has also mentioned at various times in the past that with a win over Dan Henderson at UFC 100 next month, Michael Bisping would likely get the next middleweight title shot against Anderson Silva, and White was hoping to headline a UK event with the match-up. Bisping vs. Silva would do serious business as the main event of a free SpikeTV card.

As far as 106 at Mandalay Bay, we might end up seeing a heavyweight, welterweight, or lightweight title defense. Since all three of those belts are being contested at either UFC 100 in July, or UFC 101 in early August, the winner of each would probably be ready for their next defense by November, of course that assuming that the winners of this summer's title bouts don't suffer any long-term injuries or other obstacles. Furthermore, if Henderson triumphs over Bisping next month, the middleweight title calendar becomes a bit trickier, unless they decide to give it to the winner of Marquardt vs. Maia after those two collide at UFC 102 in late August. It will have been nearly seven months since the last middleweight title fight come November, so it may turn out that Silva will end up defending on the 106 card anyway, even if the Bisping situation doesn't pan out for 105 in England.
A light-heavyweight defense is off the table since that belt will be up for grabs in October at UFC 104 when Lyoto Machida takes on Mauricio Shogun Rua at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
So far, the UFC's fall calendar looks like this:
8/29: UFC 102: Portland, OR - Rose Garden
9/16: UFC Fight Night 19: Oklahoma City, OK - Cox Events Center
9/19: UFC 103: Dallas, TX - American Airlines Center
10/24: UFC 104: Los Angeles, CA - Staples Center
11/14: UFC 105: UK (Manchester, England likely)
11/21: UFC 106: Las Vegas, NV - Mandalay Bay Events Center

If Bisping beats Hendo I wonder if they would put another title fight on Spike over in the U.K.?

We might as well wonder what they’d do if Hendo was abducted by aliens. Same level of probability here.

Replace him with a cardboard cut-out and someone mumbling into a tape recorder?

Its with ufc4.
If Hendo wins my sig becomes “Walla walla walla, I’m an idiot.”
If Bisping wins ufc4’s sig becomes “I love Hanna Montana”
Are you confident enough in Hendo to risk professing your love of Miley to the interweb?
Keep firing Assholes!
Out out, you demons of stupidity!
Well see, the thing is, right now, if Hendo wins, you get embarrassed – with no risk from me.
You’d need to make yours ‘I hope Canadian hockey clubs never win another Stanley Cup. Go Red Wings (or whatever American team is most loathsome to you)!’
And I’ll need my own.

Changing my signature to “Go Ottawa Senators” would actually be much more emotionally devastating to me.
Pending a Bisping victory, yours will become “Go Kansas City Chiefs!”
Deal?

Ugh… I might have to like the Chiefs and Brandon Vera at the same time?
Deal. How long is the sentence?

Just about squashes UFC 103 on Spike
Totally awesome news though.
Andy Reid is the only coach in NFL history that uses the pass to set up the pass.
As in it squashes the idea
I could see Bisping being featured. Maybe Pearson and Wilks on the main card.

9/19: UFC 103: Dallas, TX - American Airlines Center
dammit getting so screwed on this one.
Boston?
This is pretty disappointing. There was an event rumored for Boston around November, that I was looking forward to. Maybe someday……..
