She Hits Like a Girl!!!

A very scary, threatening-when-angry girl…

Muay Thai = “Fighting with 8 Limbs” = Octopus? Was that the analogy they were going for?

I think the whole 8 limb thing is why Anderson Silva = The Spider.

You can tell Gina is such a gentle lover. The way she was caressing and wiping his head after he went to sleep. “HOLD ME GINA”!

You can also tell she’s the man in a relationship. That guy was her bitch.

How taste my pee pee pee? LIKE WIN!!! Thank you Machida!

Is there any danger is getting choked unconscious? That dude didn’t look so good…

Aside from the “lack of blood to the brain” part, not too much if the choker knows how to do it properly – hell, everyone in a BJJ class will go to sleep at some point while training. It’s just very unnerving to regain consciousness without realizing you were ever out.

Was choked out once in a class

I think the guy that choked me out was more scared than I was.

I always find it refreshing, like a power nap. The only problem is I wake up loudly swearing, every single time. I have no control over it.

I find myself the most interested in Overeem v Rogers.

It should be an interesting look at where both guys are. If it happens, its not like Rogers took any punishment in his last fight…

by Razreshat on Jun 22, 2009 11:54 AM EDT reply actions

Another dominating win from Rogers puts him way up in the rankings, IMO.

Compare this to Cyborg choking out at reporter last week

Gina cradles the guy afterwords, Cyborg dropped him to the ground and laughed. Can’t wait for this fight.

by Sonic Boom on Jun 22, 2009 12:26 PM EDT reply actions

That guy was lucky Cyborg didn’t cuddle him afterward.

She is so darn cute.

Are you nerds still gushing over Gina?

Ok she’s attractive I get it. Can everyone just get over her now? This is why female MMA in America is just a freak show. I don’t ever see Tara Larosa, or Sarah Kaufman getting this attention and they are better fighters than Gina. And the only reason they do not get that attention is because you nerds don’t think they are attractive. This is what female MMA has become, if there is attractive women fighting then people will pay attention!?

by Erich Vowell on Jun 22, 2009 2:03 PM EDT reply actions

Not that I think Gina is actually a better fighter, but until we see a fight between them, it’s hard to say that Rara or Sarah is better than her. I will say that they’re both better than her at 135, since she has NO chance of fighting at that weight. But if she fought where she belongs at 155, I think she’d stand a good chance against either.

FACT=If Gina Carano wasn’t hot, nobody would care about this fight. It certainly wouldn’t be a main event. It’s a double-edged sword, her hotness has brought a lot of attention to women’s mma, but obviously women fighters want to be known for their abilities.

“when Gina Carano steps into the MMA Octogon”

by MMAcGyver on Jun 22, 2009 3:37 PM EDT reply actions

You can't fault her for being hot

She has proven herself to be more than just a pretty face. She obviously has good skills and knows what she is doing in a fight. If someone can say that we only know her because she is Psychically beautiful then you could say we only know about Brock because he is a gigantic ape who has learned to shave himself, or as he so poetically put it " built like a black man"( sigh).

by despisedIcon856 on Jun 22, 2009 7:58 PM EDT reply actions

Technically, he is a giant ape, but I wonder if anyone would tell him to his face he’s a homo sapien. (Well, I would for laughs
