Affliction is screwed
I'm not sure how many people are aware of this, but it was announced on Monday nightt that Donald Trump has purchased Monday Night Raw.
WWE owner Vince McMahon has sold WWE Raw to real estate magnate Donald Trump has purchased WWE Raw
I don't see how it's possible that he'll be unable to run a major thing like Monday Night Raw and be able to keep up with his commitments to Affliction, I expect an announcement announcing that Trump is severing all ties with Affliction to be coming shortly.
Note to WAMMA's lawyers: this may or not be a joke, I'm still trying to figure out why the hell Monday Night Raw was on TV at work.

Trump never was in business with affliction anyway..
he was just paid by affliction to be there.. (well that’s according to some reports around the webs)
Are you kidding me?
This is irrelevant to Affliction. Trump has his hands in everything; hell- he even endorses this pyramid scheme thing called ACN (which, if anyone here is looking into, don’t believe the lies- it’s practically a cult).

100% correct there
ACN is a huge rip off pyramid scam…. I agree with the cult remark as well…. yikes.

Trump may have some issues waddling from one venue to the other because lets face it, that’s all the phony does anyway. Time for a motorized buggy Mr Trump! Move that fat rump!

Yes, Trump’s involvement in a WWE storyline is why Affliction is screwed.

I thought the note to WAMMA"s lawyers would be enough, but it seems like I might have to go back and add it.
I was joking man...
I should have put a satire warning in my response, my bad. I feel bad for anyone who took this seriously, but it made me giggle.

Donald had nothing to do with Affliction
Aside form holding the velcro belt.
Seriously...
I am still looking for the Satire warning, then the post would make sense.

It just looks bad
Trump’s touch brings the WWE up – adds a sense of legitimacy and mainstream notice to the sport.
MMA doesn’t need Donald Trump’s fucking charity anymore than it needs Vince McMahon’s.

But the entire UFC model is based on Vince and the WWE.
Give them some credit.

That's insane - even for you
WWE is based on preordained outcomes – fixing fights. And for years and years, they didn’t drug test (until their stars started dropping like flies and taking innocents with them). And it involves people actively involved in pro wrestling. And they can change the rules and weight classes on a whim. And they can put 500 lb people against 150 lb people.
This sounds a hell of a lot more like PRIDE and DREAM’s business plans than the UFC’s.

I said business model. Dana has been quoted saying that he looks up to Vince McMahon and they based their model off of the WWE’s (sorry Subo, fixing fights and predetermined outcome is not a business model, its the product you are selling)

I stopped watching and caring about pro wrestling when I was like 9. If I wanted to watch meaningless drama I’d watch The Young and the Restless. This may not be universally true but in the area I live in, if you like pro wrestling as an adult it typically means you are of the lesser-income/education demographic.

Wow, what an incredibly arrogant thing to say……

I don’t watch wrestling anymore, but it was on at work so I decided to make a joke post about it, but judging from your comment, what is the difference between Monday Night Raw and The Young and the Restless. What’s the difference between Raw and Grey’s Anatomy or the Office, what’s the difference between watching wrestling and going to a movie?
It doesn’t entertain me anymore, but I’m not going to demean anyone that likes to still watch it, it’s a TV show. And it’s a TV show that never has reruns, and is always on, who cares if people like it.
Pro Wrestling tends to be fairly big on college campuses too (although MMA is probably replacing it there now). Of course if you went out and asked a lot of older people I know about MMA/UFC they would say the same thing about it, fighting in general seems to be discounted as poor people entertainment even though it really isn’t (and that goes for fake fighting too).
After reading this, I have given up. I am going to jump off the Royal Gorge bridge. Gunslinger and Subo, are you guys in, lol?
If you're not submitting, you're just rolling around with another guy.
That’s what the Afflictionseseses want. Don’t give in!

I have a better idea...
All 3 of us can head up to Easton…. line up and just let Tyler Toner head kick us… it would be quicker and we could be YouTube sensations while he gets some more notoriety and that invite to the WEC.
I want to see the Tyler Toner vs Drew Dober match up already!!!
