Quote of the Day 2: Joe Stevenson

"With Diego Sanchez, I think I just went out there and lost track of the fact that it’s an MMA fight, and I wanted to throw down and bang with him."

"Now, luckily having trained with Greg Jackson in Albuquerque, if Plan A doesn’t work, you go to Plan B, and in Plan B doesn’t work, you go to Plan C."
-- Joe Stevenson talks about keeping his strategy fluid against Nate Diaz on June 20th.

if joe daddy loses then does he get cut?

And in other unrelated news: “oooh bloodyelbow’s layout is black!”

I don’t think he gets cut but if he loses hes probably one fight against a similar level fighter like Diaz before they let him go. At that point his salary will be much higher than his place on the card and in the division.

That being said the guy must have run over Joe Silva’s dog because he has been given some really tough matchups for any lightweight fighter.

More than that I think its hard to look that tough when you weigh 65 lbs. Why are they so angry?

I know Diaz is going to make Joe pay for Guida’s tick hugging

I think Joe is gonna make this a rough fight for Nate. He’s strong enough and has good enough wrestling to get Diaz to the floor, he’s willing to take risks and not afraid to get put in uncomfortable positions. If he wins, it’ll be because the fight looks like a 155lb version of Kongo vs. Cain.

Joe Daddy is gonna teach Diaz what ground and pound really feels like….
