I'm also all ears for good analysis
I haven’t seen — especially newer bloggers I’m not aware of.

Nate if I wasn’t three thousand miles away from home with only the internet to entertain me I wouldn’t have scoured every post fight article and this feature would be very helpful. Appreciate the work putting it all together.

Love this feature; for me it’s up there with the Judo Chop and history of MMA articles.

I can see making a case for Wandy winning the fight
but you can’t argue that someone “clearly won by split decision” because that would mean that 2 of the 3 judges scored it their way. You could say “Silva was robbed. He clearly won 2 out of the 3 rounds.” that would make sense.

Right...
split decision = one judge scores for fighter A, two judges score for fighter B
majority decision = one judge scores the fight a draw, two judges score for the same fighter
majority draw = two judges score the fight a draw, one judge scores for one of the fighters
unanimous decision = all three judges score for the same fighter
a 29-28 scorecard is not a “split decision” it is just a score.

oh!
also…
Draw = all three judges score the fight even; OR one judge scores the fight even, one judge for fighter A and one for fighter B
both of those situations are different from the above mentioned majority draw.

Truth.
I’m as big a Wandy fan as they come and while I and the people at the party I was at (far less biased) thought that Wandy deserved the win more than Rich, I wouldn’t call it a robbery because you could make a pretty decent argument for Franklin winning (though not as good as for Wandy imho).
I did see that two judges scored it 30-27 for Franklin, which I thought was pretty retarded though.
