Drew McFedries Ousted from Miletich Camp
After his fight with Xavier Foupa-Pokam, McFedries lambasted his training camp, saying they weren't supportive enough. Apparently Pat Miletich decided if "The Massacre" wasn't happy, then he should train elsewhere. McFedries responded with:
“I think there are other guys in the gym that feel the same way, but they’re not going to speak up, because they’re afraid, they’re afraid of the same result happening to them, that happened to me.”
Is there really trouble at MFS? Many high-profile names have left the camp (e.g. Matt Hughes, Robbie Lawler) - is that due to internal conflicts or just established fighters wanting to branch out on their own?

Fighters who deliver 1st round KOs are NOT welcome at MFS.

I've heard A LOT
of talk that MFS is a pretty damn negative camp.

How’s that possible? Miletich seems all sunshine and ice cream.

Really?!
Can you offer some examples besides the obvious one that certain fighters are not there anymore?

Seems like a group of over charged wrestlers with way too much testosterone. A good model for the rise and fall that MFS has gone through. Guys that are driven to work hard, but don’t let new people in. They butt heads with everyone creating a short term great place to push your self and long term a rotten way to live. I don’t have any inside knowledge of MFS, but that’s the impression I get from what is being said and my experience with wrestling team dynamics. Maybe you would like to paint a picture for us Brent?

I'd been wondering about this.
Particularly after reading Blood In the Cage, which, while fellating MFS, seemed to hint at a lot of internal strife. Primarily, Jens Pulver bullying Tim Silvia was a big thing to me. Berating, abusing and harassing a teammate sure seems like a great way to build morale…

It’s a testosterone pit – can’t expect much else.

The image of Lil Evil bullying the much larger Big Timmeh is so funny.

Personalities or not:
Where would you rather train? Florida? Vegas? Cali? Brazil?
Or Iowa?
If you see Mark Coleman in person, drop $5 on the floor and watch the fun as he tries in vain to bend down and pick it up.
