David "The Crow" Loiseau Cut from UFC

The UFC recently cut David Loiseau after going 0-1 in his most recent stint in the UFC.  The Crow, who recently signed a contract with the UFC, lost a unanimous desicion to Ed Herman.

I personally think that this is an awful decision.  The Crow was very popular in Canada, and, although he will never be a top 10-15 fighter in his weight class, he is always exciting and it doesn't hurt to hang onto him for future cards in Canada.

Not really though.

Agreed.

The Crow stopped being exciting a while ago. Nowadays, he just kind of sits back and takes his beating.

What reason would their be for keeping him?
He was totally dominated by a mid level fighter and my guess is he never would have even been brought back except for the fact they wanted some popular Canadian fighters for this card in Montreal.
I mean he hasn’t looked the same since he had his ass handed to him by Franklin. His win over Solomon Hutcherson wasn’t reason enough to bring him back to the UFC.

They can always give him a fight if they go back to Canada but really if he can’t get past Ed Herman they don’t need him on the roster.

How does his popularity in Canada come into this decision?

Even if they kept him, he would have been banished to the undercards.

Arguing on the internet is like being in the special olympics, even when you win you are still retarded.

It's sad

Remember the Loiseau of old? He was a wrecking machine and would just destroy people with his ground and pound. He was scary and the war that he and Franklin had just destroyed him physically. He is a shell of the warrior that he was before and I for one think it’s one of the saddest declines I’ve seen because he was a truly dominant and talented fighter.

Not everyone can be Randy Couture.

After seeing him get beaten up by Solomon ‘Team Dagger’ Hutcherson for four straight rounds in his last fight, this result and his release were not hard to foresee.
