According to the UG the show was almost cancelled:
Apparently the show is still taking place, but Kit and Lucas from Cesar Gracie’s fight team are off the show for sure.
He says the show was canceled, all the fighters were told this before weigh-ins, and then like 3 hours later they were told the fight was back on, without the commission, and Kit was already re-hydrated at that point. Shady stuff going on from what he’s saying.
Sounds like it`s still on,but Kit is ripping them a new asshole.
im here and all is a go. the comision is not involved, that a good thing, they are just a hassle, they never said it was called off to the fighters. they still took all meds to be aproved to fight. cope is a fool and would have gottn his ass kicked so who gives a shit about what he says. he jumped the gun and rehydrated and couldnt make weight. great manager he has!
That’s how WARGODS rolls: dysfunction or fail.

This is gonna send shockwaves through the MMA blogosphere.
The most highly anticipated LW matchup of the year, Andy Wang vs. Kit Cope, isn’t going down.
Sad day…
Supporting all Las Vegas MMA.
'09 is the year of the FW's.

LOL
“Ultimate Fighting Show stand out, Andy Wang” not a good thing when you were a stand out for crying hahaha. “Viejas” means Ladies in spanish.. Funny.
I posted
that I would pay $29.99 for their next card. I must have been drunk. Is this taking place at a shopping mall?
I guess its only $10, if they have the raffle and the nasty ring girls it might be worth it. I wonder if the PPV will be shot via cell phone again!
internet ppvs are notoriously bad..
“I wonder if the PPV will be shot via cell phone again!” classic….the last one was fun but no way im paying for this..and if the commision isnt involved then they should just let shamrock fight! ha
Tickets start at $35.00?!? They sure didn’t lower ticket prices any. I wonder if cageside tickets are still $500.00
For anyone who cares
The sword used in the logo is Sting from the LOTR movies.

im gonna say it again..
if they want success, put on Severn vs tank on the next wargods event!
the winner could fight shamrock after his suspension ends..From the UG:
Vernon lost a very boring decision. The guy he fought though was HUGE. The announcer said he was a former ATT fighter and he is now training with Team Quest up in Temecula and had Hendo and Krystopf in his corner.

Tarec Saffiedine def. Mike “Showtime” Aryano by keylock rd1
Wow, that has to be embarassing losing via keylock, how often does that happen?
Err, it's not an unusual sub at all
Nick Catone won via keylock in his debut against Derek Downey at UFN 17; Gonzaga keylocked Justin McCully at UFC 86; Overeem subbed Mark Hunt with a nice keylock from an armbar position; Barnett tapped Aleks with a keylock in Pride…and those are just off the top of my head.
Maybe you’re thinking of another sub? Keylocks/americanas are certainly a respected technique in major-league MMA. They may not be as common as kimuras, but they occur pretty frequently.
