Today on MMA Nation on 106.7 WJFK: Urijah Faber, Mike Brown, Kevin McCarthy
Today on "MMA Nation" we'll be joined by World Extreme Cagefighting's top two featherweight commodities: former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber as he is set to fight the man who took his belt (and will also be on the show), WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown. We'll ask both men about their first fight with one another, their upcoming rematch at WEC 41, what each is doing differently to prepare and more.
We'll also talk with 106.7 WJFK's and RottenTomatoes.com's movie reviewer Kevin McCarthy about "Tyson", the documentary about the life of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.
And, of course, lots of UFC 98 wrap-up talk and all of your calls.
"MMA Nation" airs every Saturday 7:00pm EST to 9:00pm EST on 106.7 WJFK. To listen live over the Internet, go to WJFK's website and click "Listen Live".
I'm also now on Twitter: @mmanation.
"MMA Nation" is also available by podcast on iTunes.

I had to work and missed most of the show, but from what I caught at the end it sounded like a good one

Thank you very much, Benicio. We’re really working hard and I appreciate the support more than you can imagine.

Luke, any chance you get in the weekly lineup when WJFK switches to the all Sports station like they are rumored to? Also, would you actually want to do a daily show for several hours?

Well, I know nothing more about an alleged "flip" than anyone else`
If there is going to flip, no one at WJFK has talked to me about it. I can’t really say if they are or aren’t flipping and even if they are, I guess its not even a lock they’d flip to sports if the flip happened. So really, I have no idea what will happen.
My hope – and this is literally just wishful thinking – is that the station stays as it is. But if it does flip to sports, I think if WJFK keeps me it could even be a good thing in that they’ll be looking for a lot of live sports-related content.
Seriously, though, I’m just as clueless about this as anyone. I’m just going to roll on until someone says stop.

I like the once a week format better than a daily format. I’d rather hear a lot of energy and effort put into one show. Some of the more-popular MMA podcasts that run daily are truly awful – tons of filler like college football talk.
